When you took over from Heather Hadley in the Bodyguard the show became a sell out, so yes she was.

In 2020, I predicted that Lesley Joseph would play Sister Mary Lazarus at Eventim Apollo and also be on standby to cover for Jennifer Saunders. Can’t believe I was right. Incredible. I hope she behaves and doesn’t do her normsl above herself routine. Tours are long.

I think I might have spotted Valda Aviks and Amy Booth-Steel in the teaser trailer. Wondering if they could be Sister Mary Lazarus and Sister Mary Patrick on the tour.

Has anyone sat at the end of the rows E or D in the Stalls? They’re showing as restricted view on the Seating Plan but the pics from those seats look great. Any ideas why?

I suspect that they will have masking at the sides of the stage, making the opening of the proscenium much less wide than appears in those pictures, so you’re likely to have a restricted view of whichever side you’re sat on.

Thank you. I wondered that. Probably not worth the risk.

I’m confused - is the cast that’s been announced ONLY the London cast? The tour cast are still to be confirmed?

I’m guessing they got the wrong word for matinees!! Considering the article also says Keala is about to make her West End debut in Six the Musical, I’d take it all with many pinches of salt!

Is it just me or does Keala sound like she is doing an English accent? Her mum is from New Zealand, her dad is from England and she grew up in America so she flips between the three accents depending on where she is. Its actually really impressive to watch.

Her dad is English, her mum was from Maori heritage from New Zealand, and she was born and brought up in Hawaii so she can effortless slip between the three accents. Search for Keala Settle New Zealand and you'll hear just how flawless her accent is there too.
(WireHangers - great minds....)

My Reddit Username is IsMisePrinceton (which is Scottish Gaelic for My Name Is Princeton) and when setting up my account on this site I planned to use the same name but saw there was already someone called Princeton so had to quickly scramble for another name - which is how I came up with WireHangers! You and I are the same person.

That's really interesting! I had heard her speak with an American accent before so I was a bit surprised. Very impressive.
