The show is in very bad shape at the moment. I last saw it in Nov 2023 in London, and despite returning to London twice since I've not felt the need to see it. I was bitterly disappointed despite my name literally being a reference to them (it stands for "one short day to defy gravity"). I feel bad for those who see it because they liked the movie and experience... that. There's just no spark of life or love. It feels abandoned by the creatives and in desparate need of a refresh that does not seem likely to happen

It’s a bizarre situation. One of the biggest movies of the year is about to launch, there will be massive interest in the stage show and it’s in this state. Who the frickin’ hell is in charge of this at Wicked U.K.? Because they’re failing big time. I will say that audience reactions are still very positive and I feel that it’s some long time fans that have thought this but to 99% of the audience it is fine. But the sound design is bad. What I will say it London and tour in terms it strictness is miles apart there’s things that I’d laughed in tour I hadn’t for ages in London. I know a lot of people don’t like recycling cast member but I would love Carl and Jed to come over and Maddi and Megan as previous said or Ross Harmon to come back as fiyero he has been one of my favourites for yrs along side Carl. I was gutted he only did one yr

The only lead even slightly delivering at the moment is Glinda. The less said about the other two the better.

It will still keep plodding along While so many better shows can't get a theatre

We saw it about six months ago and it felt so tired and under-powered compared to the touring version that we had seen.

Why do I have a feeling there are going to announce the new London cast on Friday in line with the film coming out.

The new Glinda is practically perfect in every way.

The new Glinda is practically perfect in every way. I think Julie Andrews has retired! (Though a non-singing, ninety year old Glinda would certainly re-invent the role…)
