Yep Jessamy confirmed she's 1st understudy Elphaba
Which would mean that's all the Elphies filled. Usually the Nessa understudies also understudy something else so I'd guess Rosa is Glinda & Nessa understudy? Not sure who the other Nessa is though.

What's not to be happy about, 4 new Elphabas ( including London's best Elphaba for a few months), we couldn't ask for more

Very amusing/appropriate as in last night's episode of The Windsors, Jessamy appeared as a certain witch!

Yeah, makes sense that Jessamy's Elphaba understudy. That's what I assumed yesterday

Do we reckon it will be a totally new Elphaba/Nessa/Morrible on 30th Jan or could it be some people returning?

I'm very disappointed that Laura Emmitt is leaving. I was hoping for her to bumped up to standby or 1st understudy. At the very least I was hoping she'd stay

Can anyone tell me, is there some form of database of web page online of casting for previous performances of when a understudy was on?
I once came across a list of dates and the cast on for that performance. It wasn't the Wicked Wiki productions info but trying to chase back any understudies I may have had...? Hope you can help! Many thanks.

I know the innuendooutnuendo forum has very active "at this performance" threads for each production where they post when an understudy goes on, just look by the date of each post- that might help I think

Ecstatic that Rachel's coming back for the 10th anniversary. Disappointed it won't be Louise as Glinda with her but I'm looking forward to seeing Suzie.
Kicking myself for not booking an anniversary ticket when I had the chance, but I'll have to try on Friday! Booking for Rachel's last now (on the assumption this one really will be her last ever performance in Wicked).

Booking for Rachel's last now (on the assumption this one really will be her last ever performance in Wicked). Yeah it would have been amazing to get Tuckman back. But I think Suzie will be fabulous. And think this will be her last ever performance in Wicked. I don't see her doing it again. After this run she will have played the role for almost 4 years. I think she might even overtake Jemma Rix as longest reigning lead Elphaba. I'm not sure about that though. Can't immediately find Jemma's exact dates. Although if that happened I think there's still a chance of Jemma overtaking her again because I'm hoping that Jemma will take over once Rachel leaves.

I'll book her first night back if I fail to get a ticket for the anniversary performance, otherwise I think I'll just go to the anniversary and her last night - try to save a bit of money given I've seen her so recently!

Not much mention of Natalie Andreou in all this.
Anyone else sad to see her go?
Saw her a couple of times and thought she was solid - but nothing spectacular.
I think she didn't quite have enough shows to develop her portrayal/earn a huge fanbase.

Alice Fearn
Fantastic choice, she's was one of the few very good parts of Shrek's cast and deserves a break. Presumably she'll become lead when Tucker leaves in January? Might be part of her contract, as it was with Idina/Kerry in 2006. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Jemma Rix got reunited with Suzie and replaced Rachel as Elphaba. I could see that happening. What's Jemma Rix doing for the next few months?
