Not much mention of Natalie Andreou in all this. Anyone else sad to see her go? Saw her a couple of times and thought she was solid - but nothing spectacular. I think she didn't quite have enough shows to develop her portrayal/earn a huge fanbase. Yeah, she was my first Elphie. Absolutely loved her

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Jemma Rix got reunited with Suzie and replaced Rachel as Elphaba. I could see that happening. What's Jemma Rix doing for the next few months? She's currently touring Australia with Ghost

I think she didn't quite have enough shows to develop her portrayal/earn a huge fanbase. I think (and correct me if im wrong please) that she had the potential to go on ALOT, but called out often.. That said I heard when she did go on she was very solid, great voice. I'm also saddened by Laura Emmitt's departure, but I think with her relatively short run in Wicked+ crazy talent (when she did go on)- she's headed for bigger and better things... I do hope to see her as Elphaba again someday though!

Liked Natalie A in the role but cannot remember anything spectacular about it that made me think "wow, I must book to see her again".
Sad I am still yet to see Natalie M and Laura Emmitt green, and probably won't as I am just booked in for next week and that will be it until the last two shows. This will be my first show since the first show of the new cast and my enthusiasm for Wicked had dulled a little.
That was until the recent announcements of the Tour and the New London cast and my credit card has since been very busy! Exciting times ahead.

Kicking myself for not booking an anniversary ticket when I had the chance, but I'll have to try on Friday! The anniversary performance was never on sale, so you haven't missed out!

Natalie M is the only Elphaba of the current cast that I haven't seen yet. I thought Laura was the best out of the 3 others

It was onsale very briefly (and probably accidently) from what I have read and lots of people got tickets.

A few stalls tickets accidently went on sale, and tickets were posted out...but the box office got in contact with everyone who booked the tickets and asked everyone to go to the box office to exchange the stalls tickets for seats in the first couple of rows in the circle.

Apparently Stalls aren't for the public / fans. They get shoved up in the Circle, with prob ridiculous prices

Apparently Stalls aren't for the public / fans. They get shoved up in the Circle, with prob ridiculous prices Well if I do manage to get a ticket it'll be my first time seeing it from the Circle then! I can deal with ridiculous prices occasionally for special events - my ticket to the last WWRY show cost a fortune! If they're not selling stalls seats to the public for the anniversary then that at least suggests they're planning a little bit more than an ordinary show...

Stalls will be full of cast members family and friends, ex cast members," celebs" etc etc etc. Doesn't mean anything special will happen though .....

Out of interest was there a huge mark-up on them because it's an anniversary show?!

Just a question. They just announced the 10th anniversary cast but a couple of months ago they announced some Elphabas returning (Alexia Khadmine, Louise Dearman etc.) Is this still got ahead of is it just Rachel now?

Don't think they announced that as such. Thought it was just speculation unless you have a link to the announcement

I'm still hoping for a West End cast album to be recorded live at the 10th. Or even better, a DVD. But a DVD is very unlikely to happen. I'd be thrilled with a cast album

Sadly I think they may just continue selling the "tenth anniversary" CD from Broadway and pretend it is relevant to London too. Would be so much easier for them.
Basically it is just the original CD repackaged with some extra versions of songs from other productions and a song from Mika. Joys....

Basically it is just the original CD repackaged with some extra versions of songs from other productions and a song from Mika. Joys.... Yeah, that Broadway 10th anniversary seems like a rip-off. There's hardly anything special about it except for a few extra songs. I really hope they use this opportunity to make a London cast recording. It's 10 years overdue. A big chunk of the shows that transfer usually get a new cast recording, even if they're not huge successes. It's very strange that arguably the most successful show of the decade didn't get a London cast recording. They could do a live recording like Miss Saigon and Kinky Boots did, and they just now it will sell well. If we don't get it now, we never will.

Out of interest was there a huge mark-up on them because it's an anniversary show?! The only seats that accodently went on sale were premium seats at £125. I have never spent that much for Wicked before but I thought it was the only chance of getting a ticket for the anniversary.

Ah ok thanks! Hoping there's some slightly cheaper - don't think I can convince the other half to spend over £200 on tickets!! Eeeek!!
