I really want to see Rachel's last. I'll be in town that day, but I'll be there with a friend with whom I already saw it in September. And he's not as obsessed as I am so he might not want to see it again so soon You need your powers of persuasion to be top notch then

Currently trying to think of ways to get him to say yes. I'll have to tell him a lie and say there's no other decent shows on in London then.

I can't see there being many changes at the matinee, maybe a little underwhelming "is that it" speech at the end of the evening show.

I think I may have set my expectations too high but she didn't really do anything I hadn't already heard on youtube. If you are reading this Jennifer, I paid slightly more than I normally spend on tickets in exchange for a few extra riffs and I was robbed blind. BLIND!!!

Shall we have a sweepstake on the time/ day the first camper will arrive? There's already 12 of us queuing, can't miss out on those prestigious front row centre tickets so that Rachel will be able to see how much I'm crying all through her final show. Fifth cover Midwife keeps popping out of stage door intermittently with digestive biscuits and to tell AliceFearnFan2212 who's leaving at cast change. I heard her say something about Kerry, Sue and Paul going, but I think she might be leaking 2014 news by mistake. Being the Edward Snowden of the Wicked world is quite a stressful job I imagine so errors are understandable. Anyone want to contribute to Cassidy Janson's leaving scrapbook? I didn't even realise there was someone called Cassidy in the cast, but apparently fifth cover Midwife told Dan she was leaving, and gave him a folder marked "2008 wkd cst chng top seecrat" so who am I to argue with such overwhelming proof? On a separate note, congratulations to Lion King actress Alexia Khadime on being offered the role of Elphaba from June. It's not been officially announced yet, but I am in the know.

I know this is most likely a joke, but I was thinking about her yesterday. She's the youngest former West End Elphaba and I can't shake the feeling that she will come back at some point.

The dates for whoever the new cast will are Mon 24th July 2017 - Sat 21st July 2018, so it makes sense for Willemijn's last show to be 22nd July.

I feel more confident now so feel free to book, haha. EDIT: daniel, of course I was, I get all of my information from fifth cover Midwife

I know I will be attacked for this comment but I promise I am not trolling. I do not get the Willemijn obsession. I do not feel like she connects with the lyrics she is singing. Particularly at the end of Defying Gravity. Her "ahhh ahhhhhh ahhhhhhh" sounds very head voicey also. She can sing but something about her voice is displeasing to my ears.

I think when she sings it more to score she is fantastic, but I am not a fan of her ahhhh aaahhhh ahh ahh ahhh ahhhh ahhh ahhhhh (if you know what I'm talking about XD). I don't feel it gives the whole battle cry feeling. I've never seen her live, but listening to the recordings of her first West End run was what got me back into musical theatre so I'm really hoping to see her this time round

If it ends up changing/not being right, ATG will be able to exchange the tickets anyway

I can see where you're coming from! I find some notes that Rachel does a bit displeasing to my ears, not all the time but sometimes. So I fully understand your point Willemijn is my first and I only saw her once so I'm really excited to see her again!
