Nah, I've seen her a few times and every single time her voice cracked during the final few notes of Wizard and I. I couldn't wait for the song to be over - which is odd because I love that song, even prefer it over DG.
I hugely enjoyed her Glinda, in fact she's my favourite UK Glinda, but I don't think she should have been cast as Elphie.

I saw her Elphaba 7 times and loved it every, single time, but I can understand why some may not enjoy her portrayal.

Was a fan of her as Glinda but wasn't that impressed with her as Elphaba. It was like a concert "Louise Dearman sings the songs of Wicked". I've preferred her in things away from Wicked, such as in Guys and Dolls. She was so great in that I ended up going back four times in a fortnight.

Of the lasts I've been to Willemijn's in London was just a masterclass in how to belt high F's and how to sing the score with power and control! Classy, can't wait to see Willemijn again!

Willemijn deserves this return. Even though she is only back for a short time, she never got to finish what she started, this is probably the last time she will ever do Wickedl and she never really got a "final" show that the other Elphaba's get. Her final show was just a casual performance and the majority of the audience was general public, who thought they were just going to see a performance of Wicked. For some of us, this would be great as there was no cheering or screaming etc, but I am also glad she will get that when she finishes in July, a true Wicked send off wouldn't be a send off without a few crazies in the audience.

^ I agree with all the points above - Louise had a tendency to miss the 'big' notes, like 'team' in Wizard and I and 'look' at the end of Defying Gravity. BUT. She smashed her last show with perfection - I was on the end of my seat with tears streaming down my face. It takes a lot for that to happen to me.
I saw Kerry's first last, CJ's last and Rachel's first last, but Louise's last was the most emotionally raw and vocally connected that I've seen. Louise's voice is unique so I can see why it might not appeal to all. But the emotion you heard even when she didn't hit the big notes surpassed any vocal 'perfection'.
On the other hand, I am super stoked to see Willemijn. I tooootally agree with the 'classy' comment - I don't like a big riffer, like I've said before, so Willemijn hits the nail directly on the head for me. Bring it on.

Yes, Louise has one of the most brilliant voices in the theatre industry, but Wicked was just slightly too high for her to belt. I've seen videos of her doing Defying Gravity in concert just half a step down, and she absolutely smashes it.

She's leaving in July? I always thought cast change was in September. Has there been any official announcement about this?

I'm not aware of any official statement, but someone on here has suggested that the contracts run until 22nd July. Once this is officially confirmed, I'll be buying two tickets for Willemijn's last-ever two Elphie shows. Edit: It was martello736 : I believe that 22nd July 2017 will be the last show for Willemijn (if she isn't staying), and for whoever else chooses to leave, Suzie and Oliver presumably.

I think it was said alongside comments that Wicked were switching their cast change to July going forward. Cant remember the reason given.

IIRC, this cast's contracts started on the 5th September 2016, so 22nd July would (almost) be 11 months anyway

I'm down next Wednesday (25th) evening to see Rachel (hopefully!). Seen it once or twice every year since it came to London as I know someone in the band (great prices and seats!) and she's by far my favourite of all the Elphebas. I've seen every "January" Elpheba and a few other random time of year ones.
Anyway, hope she's on (I'm there regardless).

That would mean that in two months or so the new cast will be announced. I'm curious whether they'll cast someone new as Elphaba and whether Suzie will stay (I hope so).

I sure hope Suzie stays, and I wouldn't ,ind Oliver staying either. He is my favourite Fiyero and she is London's best Glinda (or matched with Louise), would be a shame for her to leave.

Exhilarating....just bought some of the side stalls seats (row C) for 'supposed' cast change on 22 Jul.

It would be a real shame to lose her after just 11 months. I think Oliver is great too, but at that point he'll have been in the show for almost two years, so I don't think he'll stay.

Hopefully I'll be able to see Willemijn later this year. I have always wanted to see her as Elphie. I saw her in WOTV and it was disappointing cause she only sang like one line.

Booked to watch her on her 2nd performance 31 Jan...have seen Wicked 14 times in 4 different countries and she is the BEST ELPHABA!

Oliver's supposed to me leaving A few people have said Suzie is leaving too but i doubt it as she's not been here long and she's wanted to be Glinda on the West End for years! A few ensemble members are leaving too that i know of, can't reveal this info though

Thought Wicked cast changes were covered by the official secrets act Well, we did know about Carly Anderson being cast as Glinda on the tour a few weeks (or even months?) before it was officially announced.
