Just seen the tour in Leeds. Why the westend having chosen to have Rebel Wilson when Lucy is beyond capable of doing it is beyond me! To sell tickets? Well I did think this, but looking at her opening night and a few other dates in her first week, including the Saturday night, it has not had the desired affect lol

If I didn't read this board and follow Broadway.com I wouldn't have had a clue. I've definitely seen it talked about in the Metro and on the WOS, BBC News & Sky News websites so I've definitely seen a few articles floating about but I guess it depends on what you follow on twitter/facebook and what papers you read! (Even the Metro article was an absolutely tiny news bite off to the side corner of a page & I'm sure most will have missed it, but I saw 'Rebel' in the title so that's all the drew me to it!)

She'll go on Graham Norton or similar to promote it I'm sure.

I heard that Nigel Lindsay is only doing a month's run in this. Do you think they will have someone well-known playing opposite Rebel Wilson?

And on the tour, Maxwell Caulfield is twenty years older than Louise Dearman.

I can see why Rebel was cast now, she was fantastic this weekend in The Little Mermaid at the Hollywood Bowl!

My problem is that whenever I hear the name "Rebel" I just think of the dog in "Champion, The Wonder Horse." Can never remember the name of the horse in that old TV programme, though... Was it Wonder ? Remember the days of black and white telly well !

Am I the only person who is totally underwhelmed by Rebel Wilson?

I thought she was good, but not amazing and there didn't seem to be much power there for the big notes

Flavour of the month, I suspect.

Nigel Lindsay's only doing a month, he's a bit too young for Nathan who tends to be cast older

I feel like I have to go see the show now. Not fussed about Rebel but really like seeing Simon on stage.

Rebel Wilson is criminally underused in Hollywood. She has a real comedic talent. I haven't gone to a stage door in 20 years but will be hyperventilating and pushing weaker people out of the way to get to my rebel girl
