Shona White was a fantastic Elphaba although my memories of seeing her back in 2007 are pretty hazy. Can't see her coming back, although worth noting she *has* on multiple occasions come back to London to act as emergency standby in the past six years or so.

Do we know any dates past Bradford? I think Asia was mentioned? Presume one UK run per year is the plan ala Mamma Mia? Birmingham 2018 is on the cards I believe, not sure about 2017. |

Yes, Manila run would start from Feb 2, 2017.
I also read from the Innuendo/Outendo board that this tour is expected to run till Jan 2018.

Ok so what do we actually know....
From Casting Weekly:
Rehearsals start Monday 13 June, the first performance is Wednesday 20 July and the final performance is Saturday 6 January.
First stop and tour opener in Bradford 20 Jul - 21 Aug 2016.
If final performance according to casting weekly (assume that's the cast currently being recruited) is 6 January 2017 that would assume it will set down somewhere between September 2016 and January 2017. (Obviously the cast could extend....)
Wicked Manilla opens early 2017, with one website reporting first show is 2 February 2017.
So we've got Bradford and the Phillipines confirmed, do we reckon one or two stops then between end of August and January?!

Haven't heard of official confirmations of other tour stops yet. If the cast start rehearsals on June 13th as mentioned earlier, can we expect an announcement before then, sometime in May perhaps?

Surprised Manilla run a starting on 6th January as stated on here, for no other reason, if this goes somewhere after Bradford, which I think it will, doesn't give that city a chance to cash in on a decent Christmas sit down, shows normally close on 06th January, have a couple of weeks off, then ready to start in the next city, end of January, start of February.

Final performance somewhere TBA is 6 Jan with Manilla starting Feb.
That'll give them a Christmas somewhere before heading to Phillipines!

Haven't seen her before, so as she's a new Elphaba for me, I'm fine with that casting choice, even though I'd have hoped for a newcomer being cast. Since they are casting internationally and bringing back former cast members: Alli Mauzey for Glinda please. |

The show is doing Bradford for 6 weeks then going over to HK. It takes 5 weeks to get there.....
