Have you sorted out a nice new suit ready for your red carpet debut? Now that's a thought! Something very stylish, obvs. I normally like to blend in, rather than stand out, so maybe my new whistle should be red too?

Finally seeing this tonight! Got fed up of not winning the TodayTix front row lotto (I never win ticket lottos) and plumped for the loser ticket offer. End of row J stalls for £35.
Hopefully the show will be worth it!

Well, it took all of one number for this to charm me!
A very sweet, funny, enjoyable show. Some nice soaring numbers, too - particularly for Jamie’s Mum.

This time last week I was slipping into something more comfortable. C&A's finest 100% silk, to be exact. The request from the production company was to dress in "...your favourite fun colourful items of clothing! The more colourful and wild the better...". Those two sentences terrified me even more than the thought of dancing in public without the help of Dutch courage. Although I'm well know for being very stylish, I'm equally well known for not being very bright! So before I return it to him, I want to publicly thank my very good friend, BurlyBeaR , for lending me his Sunday best shirt. Of course it was far too large for me, even after my causey edge picnic tea of two bags of crisps, four pork pies and four Chorley Cakes, but nothing that a few strategically placed bulldog clips couldn't solve. It's a movie-making 'hack', apparently. I may have been just one of 4,000 supporting artistes, but in the words of Stanislavski, there are no small parts, only small actors! It really was one of those magical nights when all the stars aligned. The weather was perfect, and because everyone was there because they wanted to be there, the atmosphere was magical. The only fly in the ointment was my discovery that, in the same way they used to say Gerald Ford, the late US president, couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time, I can't walk and clap in time. The shame!

Does someone hold up a sign or something? Thank you xx Are you sure it’s allowed? There certainly isn’t any signs. The finale is when Jamie has a hand held microphone to sing the final song and the whole cast is on stage - I think it would be worth checking with the front of house staff though as I wasn’t aware you could film when I was there, or it certainly isn’t made obvious.

I prefer the way he performs the role to Layton.

I went last night after winning the TodayTix lottery after many failed attempts. I can see why they sell these off cheap the view is rubbish! I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I think Melissa Jacques was on as Margaret, I didn't see a cast board but, being unfamiliar with them both, I think it was her from photos. She was amazing, so glad to hear she's taking over full time. Only wanted to slap her when she doesn't tell the dad where to go , what a douche he is. And what a gig! He must be on stage for no more than 5 minutes total.
Layton plays the part well and keeps attention but I wasn't that keen on his voice. He's fine at the more belty parts but when he's doing the softer moments he was a bit too weak and quiet for me. I didn't feel like I was watching a WE performer in those moments. Sorry!
Probably the most I've enjoyed a show for a while, I'd like to go back and see it again from a better seat.

Just noticed that Melissa Jacques is on as Miss Hedge tonight.
So does that mean that Rebecca McKinnis is still on as Margaret?

I'm pretty sure Rebecca is leaving on either this Saturday or the one after that.
