Parsley, have a read of Cameron / Johnson, B. / Osborne student profiles. Smashing up restaurants, f*cking pigs' heads, etc., etc.
And Theresa May's admitted trashing of the assets of local entrepreneurs in her youth.

Why are you attacking parsley for having a different political viewpoint than you. He's made a statement about a politician and not attacked people on the board...

The pigs head thing was a total lie and everyone knows it was a lie.

I (unlike politicians) only speak for myself, but having been at the end of Parsley's attacks previously, my perception of their posts (much like Politicians speeches) is coloured by past events.
And if the opinion was just a political one, not just another sideways dig at "poor stupid people" it would have been perfectly fine.

Fair point. My Spice Girl defence still stands though.

She's spouting rubbish again, promising what she is utterly unable to deliver.
Certainty!

I have noted her jackets are always nicely tailored

Good news, I've another question! People's opinions on the DUP? The Tory Party is, properly, the Conservative and Unionist Party. So, the DUP is a North of Ireland mutation of the Tories. Like the Scottish Conservatives are a mutation of the Tory Party. But they are not the same so nothing will be smooth. And the English Tories who disagree with Theresa May's diktats will now stand up to her too.

Seems to me she's very lucky that she did ever so marginally better than the Exit Poll suggested. At their predicted 314, even the 10 DUP seats wouldn't have been enough. And now her speech she just made outside Downing Street was spoken with an air that this was her plan all along and that there is nothing to see here, all is well, move along please!

She would have just squeaked a working majority. 650 seats less the Speaker (can't vote) and 7 Sinn Fein (don't attend) gives 642 voting MPs. Half of 642 is 321, so you need 322 to have a working majority. So, 314 Tory (exit poll) plus 10 DUP would have given a working majority, just! But, as you say, even tighter than the actual outcome.

That's really interesting - thanks! Hadn't heard mention of a working majority during my watching last night and a it wasn't something I was particularly aware of. A scrape through either way and Theresa May seems to be in complete political denial.

Good news, I've another question! People's opinions on the DUP? I've been spending the morning reading up on the DUP. My opinions are unfit for reproduction in a public forum. To say they are close-minded bigots determined to drag everyone back to the nineteenth century or beyond and are a frankly dangerous force seems to be something of an understatement.

I've been doing a bit of the same but couldn't be certain that what I was reading wasn't just hyperbole. I fear that wasn't the case!

Hopefully, the DUP won't try to influence social legislation in England, and will instead be satisfied with UK Government support of DUP policies in the North of Ireland. These areas are delegated to the North of Ireland Assembly, although that has of course recently imploded, with their powers being temporarily returned to the UK Government.

Getting into bed with them isn't a good look for the Conservatives though, and being part of a coalition no matter how informal will sadly legitimise the DUP (in their own eyes if no one else's) and ensures another five years of misery for women who want control over their own bodies or same-sex couples who just want the same legal protections as opposite-sex ones. A better government could have led to long overdue social change in Northern Ireland. This is not that better government.

There is to be no coalition.
The DUP is a legitimate political party. It has ten elected MPs. The Tories (Conservative and Unionist Party) don't operate in the North of Ireland because they would be duplicating the Democratic Unionists.
You don't seem to understand that the social policies you oppose are devolved to the North of Ireland Assembly (when it is functioning!) and so aren't influenced by the UK Government.

I know it was a lie.
I know that anyone who believes it is clearly a deluded bitter little man. So its no surprise to see someone quoted above who does believe. Confirming yet again that I'm right to have him and his vile views blocked.

The pigs head thing was a total lie and everyone knows it was a lie. The authors of the book which related the anecdote could neither prove nor disprove its veracity. It would be helpful if you could share your conclusive evidence. Although, as you claim that everyone is already aware of this evidence, I doubt that you have it.

Know it all is back again I see. Your opinion, whether about the NHS or anything else is not a fact.
