This has gone on sale for a host of ATG venues today, starting in Manchester in September 2017. There's a pyramid offer of a capped number of very cheap tickets available to ATG Theatre Card holders, starting at just £10 for non-premium seats, for each performance if you get in quickly. That's the case for Manchester anyway so I assume it applies to other venues too.
After Manchester, the show is visiting Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Torquay, Wimbledon, Edinburgh, Stoke-on-Trent, Sunderland and Woking.
Booked for the second week in Manchester. At £10 a ticket, compared to the standard price of £57, it would be rude not too!

Do we know who's producing it? It's Neil Eckersley/Speckulation Entertainment (behind the current Wonderland tour)

The Pyramid offer tickets for Birmingham are for under 25s. I'll have to make do with £22.50 opening night offer!!

The issue i find with the score, and maybe I will feel different after watching the show, but there is really only one memorable song in the entire show "It's All Happening". And that doesn't come until the beginning of Act II, though a fantastic opener. The issue they might find is they may well struggle with those midweek matinees as this really isn't going to appeal to those midweek matinee ladies. I'd keep your eyes peeled for discounts for those shows nearer the time kids.

Agree its not LMM's best work, but i've seen a couple of drama school productions and its just SO MUCH FUN! Looking forward to this - hope they get a proper cheer choreographer for it too.

With the exception of Manchester and Edinburgh, the pyramid schemes are only for Under 25s it seems.

Great news, might catch this in Wimbledon, looks like tour won't extend, judging be how well this is already spread around the country.
Love to see it.

I presumed the balcony in Wimbledon had sold out only to realise that it's empty also for Cilla - I presume they have taken it off sale. A shame. I loved the 15 pounds front balcony seats. Still I got the ATG 10 pound tickets, which are very very confusing to buy. You have about 20 choices of prices! Like train travel in the UK now buying tickets.

How did you get the £10 tickets please? I thought they were only for under 25s?

How did you get the £10 tickets please? I thought they were only for under 25s? Other than Manchester and Edinburgh they do say U25s only. However they do appear as an option for everyone, so if you were to purchase them and have them posted, the chances of getting checked are slim to zero.

Ahh but would they post them if one got them using the under 25s offer? Or wait until one gets to the BO and then ask to see ID?

Thanks for highlighting the offer! Thought this was worth a punt at £10 and I do love a Sunday Matinee!

Are the £10 pyramid tickets only available to ATG members at present? I booked one for the New Wimbledon Theatre earlier and I'm not an ATG member, so I assume anyone can book!

Choose a performance, choose a seat and a list of price options will come up. If the pyramid price is available for that seat, it will be on the list.

I believe Tom Kitt wrote the songs for Truman High School and Lin wrote the ones for Jackson High. Makes sense as they are two completely different styles.
They're probably my two favourite modern composers and I hope they work together again on something...better. I don't blame them, the subject matter is rather trite and I believe Lin was writing Hamilton at the time so if most of his genius was going to go to one show I'm glad it was that one.
I do think the score is catchy and fun enough though and I will probably see this for £10.

I actually saw the very first performance of this show - the first preview in Los Angeles where it opened pre-Broadway. I don't remember why I was there as I had not seen the movie and had no interest in cheerleading but, for all my cynicism, the show completely won me over. The energy was so high it virtually exploded off the stage and the score was very strong for such a piece. Miranda's stuff certainly outshone Kitt's but he had more interesting characters to deal with. I don't know how it will go down here but it's a show that definitely gives you your money's worth.
