Busy busy day at work. Not as busy as my mate I had dinner plans with tho as he had to work over and they got cancelled! I was actually glad though. I’ve been battling a sinus infection, while still trying to maintain my workouts, and do extra work stuff last week and I feel it all got me tonight and I’ve spent the evening on the sofa! Zzzzzz

What I sincerely hope is only hayfever has been sufficiently different to my usual symptoms for the last day or two to warrant a COVID test. Which meant I couldn't go to the Curve tonight for their season preview. To be honest, even if I'd had a negative result back already I'd have skipped it ... I couldn't take this cough into a theatre right now!

I do 2 lateral flow tests a week for work and i've had a sinus infection for almost 2 weeks and all my tests have come back negative, clear as a whistle. I think there's allergies and still come colds doing the rounds at the min. A lot of my office are sick but its just cold and infections theres no covid. The boss is v strict about covid measures and tests. Hence why I'm currently freezing cos I'm by an open window in this weather!!!

Just had my 2nd vaccination. Felt quite emotional afterwards. Have also made my first theatre booking this year which was for Jersey Boys. Unfortunately I have to wait until March next year to see it but it’s great that we’re getting back to some kind of normal.

Pubs and restaurants are finally able to allow people to eat and drink indoors. For the last month the weather has been miserable every weekend. The first weekend we have the choice to be inside the sun comes out. Thanks, weather.

I’m in a queue for my first vaccination!! Nervous!!!!!! For the side effects not the actual jab I must add. That was how I felt. I don't mind getting needles stuck in me but there have been so many articles about side effects & I had my first jab just as there were a slew of articles about blood clots from AstraZeneca. I'd recommend not planning to do anything for the next 48 hours.

Well done Roxie on finally getting that jab. Thanks! I feel fine, just a bit of a sore arm. The actual jab itself didn’t hurt, I don’t have a problem with needles, I was just wary cos one of my mates had hers last week and ended up really really poorly like off work. I’ve had Moderna though for some reason! I had to wait 15 mins after and been instructed to drink a lot tonight. Sadly she meant just water, not gin!!! 😜

Having a tiring day looking after my 2 year old niece in East London. Though the kids play areas are great having tried out a few of the rides myself! Hopefully I’ve got enough energy for this afternoons shows.

I went to B&Q for a screwdriver, and came back with a boot full of bedding plants as they all seemed to be half-price, looks like someone had over ordered!
I have nowhere to put them right now, but will have to work on that 🙂

I'm trying to actively avoid going to my local Boots atm - Rihanna is trying to bankrupt me!!!!

Busy day at work. Loooooong meeting. Needed matchsticks for my eyes. Was thrilled that the sun actually came out this evening though and I was able to walk the dog in the fields.

I'm on a high
Currently in the middle of 11 days out of the office, combo of leave, toil, weekends and a Bank Holiday.
Spent a lovely 3 days with my folks we hadn't seen each other since Dec. We pottered around Hampstead Heath and Brighton in the rain.
Today, I booked Best of enemies and Wonderful Town and tomorrow I go go on camping (it up) trip to Kent.
Work on the 1st June will be difficult and I'll be less smug.

I don't know if the scammers who keep on making nuisance phone calls about Amazon Prime record the replies to their robotic calls but if they do then they've now got me on tape saying "Oh f*** off" before slamming the phone down! When you have a relative in hospital & are constantly on the alert for any phone calls with news then scam phone calls are even more annoying than usual.

Theres a TONNE of scams going round at the minute, its vile. I keep getting calls from an automated message in Chinese! Hope your relative is ok.
