Just feels like this much of the time...... If you're going to quote xkcd then at least link to the original because the title text displayed when you hover the mouse over the image is part of the joke.

If you touch and hold on the pic, it'll bring up the title when it asks you if you want to save it (or, at least, it does on my iPhone).

I will be quite gutted if I don't get to see this show again, but unfortunately that's how it's looking at the moment.....

I will be quite gutted if I don't get to see this show again, but unfortunately that's how it's looking at the moment..... Find a day (either a Wednesday or Saturday) where you are free, travel down in the morning and dayseat for the matinee or evening, then see another show too.

Monday must be a slow day for day seating all round. I know I struggle to get up for work never mind to sit on a pavement for a few long hours!

May I remind everyone of our board rules, especially no. 2?
I've just removed all the clips that @dontrainonmyparade has posted waiting validation.
Thanks for your understanding.

Allthatchat bans not just links but discussion of bootlegs, Broadwayworld appears to just draw the line at the posting of links to them.
The MU site refers to the following, which applies.
"The making available right
A performer’s property rights are infringed by any person who, without the performer’s consent, makes available a recording of the whole or a substantial part of a performance by electronic transmission in such a way that members of the public may access the recording from a place and at a time chosen by them."
In short, we all know bootlegs exist, many have them, many want to know where to get them, but (because of the above) people should take the risk individually by asking people who host their own sites listing, or alluding to, what they have. I've assisted record labels with providing recordings at various times (rare vinyl, demos etc) and there are all sorts of clearances to get for those, even if out of the initial copyright period. Bootlegs? Well, that's a whole other nest of vipers if someone wants them to be subsequently released. There's the issue of historical significance, which is worthy of further study (so footage of the original Follies for example), but for something from recent memory, good luck with justifying that in court.
Sites like Discogs and Castalbums.org are treading a very thin line, the latter is pretty good at deleting recordings that have no official release (and this can include those recorded for promotional purposes rather than for the general public) but Discogs is awash with people offering them for sale.

How is everyone feeling about the tour? When do you think they will announce the cast? Who would you like to see cast? Personally I love the whole cast but would particularly like Natasha, Joel, Marilyn & Matthew as Nick.

I don't think Marilyn will tour. She said in an interview with Westendframe that she wanted a break from theatre and to relax with her family but when Funny Girl came up and she had the chance to work with Sheridan, she couldn't say no to such a great part but she knew it was only a limited run so I don't think she would tour, but who knows

I couldn't wait any longer for my actual CD so downloaded it last night. No surprise really that I loved it. I especially like the idea of incorporating snippits of dialogue as well.
