Seeing this next Thursday - will be interesting to compare to my front-row-at-the-Menier experience of it

Limited number of £15 day seats from 10am at the Box Office......sounds good - depending on where in the theatre they are!

Those Sheridan fans are crazy! Oo that is such a good point - I hadn't thought of that! Maybe will avoid the day seat queue for a while. Legally Blonde was kind of the first musical in the West End to do the Broadway-style lottery, wasn't it? So no other Sheridan musical to compare it to!

Just looked at the production shots and they are from the Menier run as a couple of people in the pics are not in the Savoy run. I like the day seat prices but as others have said the Sheridan fans will be up bright and early at the beginning of the run to snap those up. I walked past yesterday and got some nice pics of the marquee, its very purple and sparkly. Don't think I can download onto here or can I? I have tickets to see it in June

No, you can't download (or upload) pics to the forum. You have to have administrator rights to do so.

The pics are from a mixture of both runs I believe. There's slightly different backdrops and staging in some of the new additions.

When I walked past on Monday, trust me when I say, that purple shiny stuff is blinding in the sun! You could see the signs from the end of The Strand!

Why didn't they pick a big theatre like the Palladuim? They could have sold it out.

Probably because the show fits better in the Savoy? The Savoy is a beautiful theatre, is alot easier for a Meiner show to go here than the likes of the Palladium. It wouldn't of sold the Palladium for the length it will sell the Savoy... even Gypsy wasn't a sell out ay the Savoy, though that ran longer than Funny Girl.

Why didn't they pick a big theatre like the Palladuim? They could have sold it out. Going from a 180 seater to one 12 times the size is a big jump plus it would look tiny on that stage. The Savoy is the biggest theatre that the Menier have transferred to in the West End, the others have been playhouses in the 700-800 range

The stage looks great based on Instagram photos, looks like they have made it fit quite nicely on the stage at the Savoy! iconosquare.com/p/1224935830826854349_318896352Also, for those wondering, Sheridan does do the stage door after the show!

Is there any talk of a cast recording for this? Those on Amazon with Streisand are very old now!

Is there any talk of a cast recording for this? Those on Amazon with Streisand are very old now! Sheridan tweeted a while back there won't be one because she didn't want to be compared to Streisand and no one can do it better than Streisand. Or something to that effect. Thay could of all changed after the reviews and the announcement of the transfer though...

You actually want a recording of her attempting to sing these songs? Count me out!
At least she's self aware enough to know recording it would be a bad idea.
That picture looks good.. Looks like they have transferred it properly!

Unsurprisingly house is full tonight.
Also the back row of the Stalls is so much better than Row A or B of the upper circle! Very glad I made this choice.
I expect from my seat they'll look more like mice rather than ants as from the horrendously high upper circle here
