It's a tragic state of affairs isn't it! Hopefully it's just a phase π

Tonight I shall be slumming it in Sloane Square for 'Rita, Sue and Bob Too'. With the subject matter of the play, I'm stunned the Royal Court are putting it on. To be honest, I'm surprised they didn't think of pulling it.

After years of trying finally got the golden ticket to a recording of Just A Minute.
2017 was poor year for the BBC recording lottery which seems to have recovered this year as have also bagged a ticket for the TV recording of an episode of The Upstart Crow later in the month.
From a theatrical perspective the quiet January continues with two productions, The War Has Not Yet Started at the Southwark Playhouse and Belleville at the Donmar.

Possibly the Railway Children musical at Cadogan Hall on Sunday (Rebecca Trehearn β€), if I can find a matinee as well to make the trip worthwhile

I am finally seeing The Play That Goes Wrong on Wednesday. I've been going to NT Archive this week to watch plays too. I would highly recommend it if based in London. Can you say a bit more about this - perhaps start a new thread - it sounds interesting. Can you see NT live recordings and how do you get access? Thanks.

I want to plan a visit to London and spend some time at the archive. Looking at the catalogue they have recordings of Little Night Music with La Dench, which I would love to see.

I'd like to know more about this Archive business as well. How does it work, do you just rock up and sit at a computer with headphones watching recorded performances? Is there a charge?

Seeing The Birthday Party tonight. It will be my first venture into the fitting setting of the Harold Pinter Theatre. I am excited as we managed to get front row stalls seats on the Today Tix rush. Iβm even more excited at the prospect of Stephen Mangan staining my programme with his little sharpie. Will report back.
