Is Lilia pregnant again or is she sporting a much fuller figure these days, I didn't really recognise them at first especially as there have been rumours about Darren's hair for years.
But good to see them back, never understood why they were dropped.

Alexandra & Gorka (plus Dianne & Chloe) were at Paddington Station yesterday. Presumably filming a Remembrance Day VT as there was a military band playing and they were selling poppies.
Gorka is a lot shorter than I realised. He didn't look quite so good in his jeans as he does in his Strictly outfits either!

And how many times have you thought, "Oh yes it does!" ? I hope Miss Tibidabo isn't on this during one of her lessons... I mean, I know the kids are on their 'phones all day, but the teachers too?!?! Shocking!

Day off Caiaphy. Going out. Told you yesterday I was a-ironing my crinoline. Do pay attention at the back!🔔
ETA: It's amazing what you pick up on breakfast telly when you get the chance. This morning I discovered that Dancing on Ice is coming back with a bunch of contestants I've never heard of. However, That Nice Weather Presenter (Alex Beresford) was added to the list this morning and I want it on record that I SAW HIM FIRST.....

I'm with Craig. Aston's routine was a mess. The theme and styling just didnt go with the dance.

Serious issues with the marking tonight. Massive lack of consistency. Alexandra stumbled - no comments made, gets a 39. Mollie stumbles as badly - and gets lots of comments and a lower score.
Really pleased for Debbie.
It is about time this show had an older winner.

I watched tonight as my Mum is staying the weekend. So I voted for Susan Calman

And just when you thought your opinion of Tess couldn't sink any lower she goes and introduces the drumming corpse.

I may be completely wrong but Ruth's entertaining "comedy" routine tonight might save her in the public vote which means that a better dancer will leave!

Aston's routine was a mess. The theme and styling just didnt go with the dance. I thought the dance was ok, but I completely agree with the styling. It just didn't suit Viennese waltz at all. It's the first time I can remember Janette getting the scrap-bin dress. (The bin in this case coming from the set of The Flintstones.) But it was worth more than 4 and it's a complete joke that Aston is lower than Susan (amongst others) on the leader board. i couldnt see what was so amazing about Debbie's routine. Neither could I! I thought it was dull and hated the song for a tango. Obviously it must have been technically perfect! Ruth's entertaining "comedy" routine tonight might save her in the public vote Definitely. I think Jonnie, Mollie or Gemma could be in line for the dance off.

Don’t understand why Jonnie got by without criticism. It looked a right mess to me.
Alexandra was fabulous. Love her.
Debbie, agree with the above but maybe there are technical things we plebs don’t understand.
I thought Davood was elegant and classy.
Final thought: why does the bbc allow Michael Jackson to be lauded as a hero? He might very well be Aston Merrygold’s hero and that up to him but for most people he is tainted and for very good reason.

Loved Alexandra. Debbie is amazing for her age, you would think she is in her 20's the way she dances.

I would love Debbie to win the series. It would be great for an "older" person to win as usually they are treated as the comedy turn or cannon fodder to go out early padding the series out.
Plus the look on Alexandra Burke's face when she doesn't win will be a bonus!

Loved Alexandra, loved Susan, Debbie was amazing of course but I didn't think it was worth full marks as she looked pretty stiff, and not in a good Tango way, and she also looked like she was being dragged around a bit by Giovanni too. But still incredible. For my money, the 40 should've gone to Davood as I thought it was a wonderful routine and he danced up a storm.

I will get shot down for this but i rather enjoyed Ruth's shady dame from Serville! Being a big Victor/Victoria fan i was surprised when i read she was dancing to it. As one of the judges said, it was very clever of Anton to go the comedy route this week. Ok, she's by no means a great dancer and the Paso was well out of her range, so why not give it some fun instead of having to watch it through your fingers. As long as they dont rely on comedy every week.
She'll be out soon anyway.

Alexandra was my favourite tonight, like she is most weeks.
I thought Debbie would be getting 8s at best tonight so was very surprised at her marks. I can't help but feel that there is going to be a Debbie backlash from viewers as the whole bowing and scraping etc. is getting a bit much. Lovely woman and a great dancer but over-marked.
And I thought Ruth was quite wonderful! Wonderful comic timing and her attitude is great.
Jonnie seems a nice enough guy but I really don't think he can dance. I'd quite like him to go next please.

Jackson was found not guilty when he was put on trial, whatever people's views of him may be, I think we can only go by that. Other stars who have sadly passed away and spent time inside are still lauded and there are lots of inconsistencies in which songs radio and tv will and won't play due to someone's misdemeanours.
With all the talk about Debbie being a trained dancer and some contestants who have had dance/ musical theatre training, I wonder how they could decide who would be a contestant and who wouldn't be as they had an unfair advantage. After they featured Bonnie Langford in the audience recently, I was debating with someone would she be considered too dance trained even though she is early 50's now.
Someone like say Wayne Sleep I'd consider too trained to be a contestant although he'd be very good and great fun to watch?

Wayne Sleep was a professional dancer so no way could he be on the show. I have no problem with people having some dance training or experience but not someone who has danced their entire life.

OJ was convicted of another crime and served time for that. Jackson will always be a devise figure with very strong opinions on both sides, we could say Saville was never tried etc.
If people didn't vote, it's no good complaining about the result be it Strictly, elections even Brexit!

Really pleased for Debbie. It is about time this show had an older winner. Does that surprise anyone this series? The Burke-bot could spend the whole routine sat on the floor and the judges would fall over themselves for her. It's a joke. As much as it pains me to say it, I actually think Ruth could have been my favourite last night.
