Craig doing Bruno (if you'll excuse me) is probably my TV moment of 2017, if the not the decade, if not of all time.

Brilliant tonight without Bruno. Would quite happily not see him return I agree about maybe losing Bruno Get thee both to the tower! Love the Loony Latin!

Yes it seemed the scores were plucked from a tombola tonight, seemed to bear no resemblance to the actual performance. Alexandra was well under marked, Joe over marked. It did not warrant a 10, eve though I love Joe. Shirley's marks seem to be all over the place.

I like Shirley and think her comments are constructive and fair but her marking is all over the show. We can't single her out for this - so are the others' and Len's always were too.
I actually think that Bruno, for all his OTT antics, is the most consistent at scoring.
Though part of me thinks the under-marking of Alexandra is deliberate, so it doesn't appear that she is the runaway favourite.
I like Jonnie a lot but I do think he's over-marked every week.

Jonnie yet again the best one last night, he really should have topped the leaderboard. I'd have put them in a different order but you can't argue with the top 3 this week, Debbie, Joe and Jonnie were clearly the best last night. I'd be more than happy to have them as the final three at the end of the show (although I'd ideally swap out Joe for Susan).

So many of the outfits were truly awful. Have they got a new design team? Or has the budget just been slashed so they can only afford charity shop stuff? Anton - time is up for him as far as I am concerned. He isn't funny. He doesn't bring out the best in anyone. Time to go.That Paso wasn't worth a 10. I agree with you. For me, the trouble with Anton is he never knows when to shut up. One wise crack works. Two starts to sound like he's there just taking the piss. Three then sounds like he knows his partner is crap so what else can he do. By four we've realised that Anton reckons this is all about him, nothing to do with helping his partner learn to dance. I felt sorry for Ruth last night; she was just laughing to go along with it all as what else could she do? (Yes, the outfits are completely OTT this year. The dressing up gear that's usually saved for the theme weeks seems to be the norm now.)

Thought Jonnie was the best last night- and good to see him coming out of his shell a bit. But come on set the hair free- that's my only issue!
Glad to see 'my boy' Joe doing a really cracking Paso. And I thought Debbie did a lovely job again. I think they were fair to Alexandra, constructive- wasn't my favourite dance of hers but still very good obviously. Davood also came back fighting and gave a solid performance so hoping he's got another few weeks in him.
Ruth is 'meh' but I was entertained by their routine (sorry...I really like Anton, always have). Charlotte was...fine. Stompy Simon is both not a natural dancer and a bit dull. Susan continues to be charming and giving it a good old go.

Just caught up. Ruth was awful but obviously she is a v nice person and I do enjoy Anton's tongue in cheek comments. Susan was good. I didn’t see the 10 for Joe, sorry. Not compared with other 10s. They should be brave and show a programme with the all the best dances from the past. Then we'd see what deserves a 10. Debbie was smashing. I don’t care if she has had dance training. She is keeping up with the youngsters and some. I can see Gemma in the final with Aston and Alexandra.

I can see Gemma in the final with Aston and Alexandra. Caffeine shots every 4 minutes for the audience to keep them awake during that one.

Its still difficult to predict at this stage. Gemma has improved and there are probably 6 or 7 who could legitimately make the final, but the public vote can mess with that somewhat. So far though the dance offs have been pretty fair and no one really good has left.

I’ve just spotted a Strictly first: I’ve noticed the odd sweaty armpit but never a sweaty crack...

Well, there goes the one I actually liked. (Though Jonnie and Joe could slide into his place.) He'd given up, hadn't he? Surprised it was unanimous - I thought they were both equally bad. Susan next please.
Producers, Please, Please do not make the pros try and 'act' in the Halloween VTs. They can't.

^There's a post by someone who was in the audience on Digital Spy. According to them, it was completely tongue-in-cheek and taken completely out of context by the press. It was edited out because he jokingly referred to Darcy as 'the horny judge,' which was, obviously, too near the knuckle for pre-watershed. The poster said that no offence was taken and the audience took it in the spirit in which it was meant.

The video on that link makes that clear (which I didn't sorry!) the entertainment guy from Good Morning Britain is retelling the story, and has a good laugh about it and makes it clear Brian was just being Brian! A shame about the language I'd have quite like to hear him tell the nation that the Strictly toilets are a bit sh*te!

Would loved to have seen Darcy's face when he called her horny. She does scream 10, so at work we have a joke she is a screamer. Plus the idea of her being a goer is far funnier than say if joke was about Tess or say one of the female pros as Darcy is the classic "posh bird" to coin an old phrase.
I'd assume Simon will likely go next, then it will be interesting to see if Ruth's fanbase and those backing her take her any further. I class Susan as a better dancer than Ruth so she should stay longer and I think Kevin brings her a fair few votes plus Scottish people may well back her. They swept Andy Murray to Sports Personality Award several times.

I'd be really surprised if Simon ins't voted off this week. But who he'll be in the dance-off with is a lot more unpredictable.
Ruth is the likely candidate but she has a huge following through Loose Women and This Morning. And that's not even counting Anton's legion of fans.
I think we may be in for a shock. I'm going for Simon vs. Mollie.
I think we will lose Simon, Davood and Ruth in that order. I think Susan will bow out in Blackpool.
I may be very wrong!

Simon has an injury and has been in dance off twice, I think he will go Saturday. Ruth has the Loose Women fish wives, Eamonn, Phil, Holly, Rylan possibly biging her up before you add in Anton's popularity.
Susan's vote has been discussed before and she HAS to make it to Blackpool and not go before Ruth.
AJ is apparently ill or has a lot of homework to do, so Mollie may dance with a replacement this week so scores may be down but Judges will save her if she fell into bottom 2 unless another shock couple were there.
I think Davood could go fairly soon or maybe improve and last a lot longer. This week I think Nadiya will have a hot halloween outfit on, like when Ola used to wear the catsuit and that may get them a decent male vote.
Also do we think Darcy is a Screamer!

Also do we think Darcy is a Screamer! I agree it's Simon's time to go - I doubt he'll avoid his 3rd dance off, and a likely fairly pedestrian VW to Delilah doesn't scream 'Halloween special' to me! I'd put Davood in the bottom with him - a rumba (even if it's to Wicked Game, a favourite song of mine and pretty good for that dance) won't do well amongst all the 'jokey' and Halloween themed numbers. I predict some bemusing face paint for both Davood and Nadiya and, with his still limited dance ability, I can see it being a disappointing rumba that drops him to the bottom 3 or 4 in the leaderboard, and he ends up in the dance off. He'll survive, of course, but his days are numbered. I don't think an Ola-esque sparkly catsuit will make much difference to their votes, unless Nadiya really goes all out and sells it, and the judges also buy into the 'sexy' narrative and make specific comments! If Mollie ends up with a replacement pro, that's usually good news for the celeb, as they get a small bounce (Anastacia when Brendan couldn't dance - she left the next week when she got him back!). The judges tend to mark more sympathetically, and the public tend to give them votes for dealing with ill/injured pros. As for Susan, Kevin has been super clever giving her cleverly jokey routines, masking some pretty basic dance choreography, that Susan is (for the most part) not executing particularly well! But Kevin has always handled the 'smoke and mirrors' aspect of disguising a partner's shortcomings well! He's also been very canny about which dances they did on particular weeks - so dances like the samba, foxtrot - both with lots of technical stuff that was really exposing Susan as an inferior dancer, were overwhelmed with the themes (Wonder Woman and, this week, a foxtrot with Game of Thrones backdrop - apparently)! Of the dances they have remaining, I suspect he'll be trying to get the jive and American Smooth as the next dances - and avoiding the waltz, tangoes and salsa, as they aren't dances that lend themselves easily to comedy routines, outside of theme weeks. But I agree, Susan's likely being set up for the 'Blackpool journey', but will go soon after - along with Simon and Ruth, she's certainly in the bottom few in respect of dance ability.
