I think it is incredibly disrespectful to the cast. They are treated like cannon fodder. Their work should be properly acknowledged.
I am not obsessive about any particular performer but I do like to know who I have seen on stage.

Surprised equity haven't said something about this as the info on the website isn't even correct...

Here we go! Again, it's not the official site that comes through, but a fan.
Although I'm not sure why Cody's name is hyphenated.

Saw the show tonight - new cast, as per the programme, is as follows: Moroni/Elder McKinley - Steven Webb Elder Price - KJ Hippensteel Elder Cunningham - Cody Jamison Strand Price's Dad/Joseph Smith/Mission President - Dean Maynard Cunningham's Dad - Stephen Rolley Mrs Brown - Ngozi Ugoh Guards - Sackie Osokonor & Rodney Vubya Mafala Hatimbi - Richard Lloyd-King Nabalungi - Alexandra Ncube General - Michael moulton Doctor - Nicholas McLean ENSEMBLE Chanice Alexander-Burnett, Philip Catchpole, Nicholas Collier, Brendan Cull, Joshua Da Costa, Nicole Dennis, Nicholas McLean, Sackie Osokonor, Stephen Rolley, Scott Sutcliffe, Ngozi Ugoh, Anna van Ruiten, Rodney Vubya, Tommy Wade-Smith, Harry Wright SWINGS Kelly Agbowu, Christopher Copeland, Joseph Davenport, Jonathan Dudley, Myles Hart, Alex Lodge, Joshua Lovell, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky, David McMullan Dance Captain - David McMullan Asst. Dance Captain - Joshua Lovell UNDERSTUDIES Price's Dad etc. - Brendan Cull, Stephen Rolley Moroni/McKinley - Stephen Rolley, David McMullan Elder Price - Alex Lodge, Stephen Rolley Mafala Hatimbi - Michael Moulton, Joshua Da Costa, Christopher Copeland Nabalungi - Chanice Alexander-Burnett, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky General - Rodney Vubya, Sackie Osokonor Standby Cunningham - David O'Reilly, Jonathan Dudley Loved the show! Cody Jamison Strand couldn't be more different than Brian Sears as Cunningham, not sure which I preferred, they're both good in their own way (though I know Michael would tend to disagree ), he played it somewhat calmer and quirkier, which I liked, but I think Brian Sears had more energy. Rest of the cast was pretty tight for a first performance. I recognised all of the leads faces so don't think any other of them are new other than General/Satan - he was fine, but I don't think anyone will live up to the original...gah his name escapes me, he's now in Cursed Child anyway. KJ Hippensteel I've seen do better - maybe he was vocally tired after the rehearsals and still performing in the evenings, he struggled a little bit in Act I, but did pick up in Act II. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening! Booked in months ago before any mention of a cast change (though let's face it, I could've booked it five minutes before Curtain Up with no mention of a cast change but let's not go there...), Row E in the Circle for £27.50, absolutely fine by me!

Thank you! You're thinking of Delroy Atkinson.

I really enjoyed KJ when I was the show in April last year however I did think his vocals were a little weak. I really want to go back and see this show again however!
(Is KJ his real name? It seems odd to have letters as your first name and also really American and yes I know he is American).

Announcement on Instagram Now about cast change That one's been up for a couple of days I think. And only Said "Book of Mormon 2017-2018" with no indication as to who the cast were. Website seems to have finally been updated though: www.bookofmormonlondon.com/show/

Why are tickets off sale for the whole month of February? On the DMT website, all that is on sale is the end of March and April.

Chris Jarman has left for Harry Potter, which is a shame as I thought he made the show.

Chris Jarman has left for Harry Potter, which is a shame as I thought he made the show. He was brilliant. I saw him a number of times and felt a little underwhelmed by his replacement last year. Part of the issue was that the replacement was no way near as tall as Chris Jarman, so didn't really have the menacing presence needed for the role.

Agree - I haven't seen his replacement, but he certainly at menacing eyes, that nearly popped out, he made the show for me.

Agree O haven't seen his replacement, but he certainly at menacing eyes. As far as I know, Delroy Atkinson left at cast change, so I'm interested to see what the latest General is like The fact that the General also appeared as a villager in Hasa Diga last cast was also a weird choice and didn't really help things either.

It used to always be that way on Broadway until Brian Tyree Henry left. They changed it up because the first replacement General had been on tour and they just let him do what he'd done on tour (that is, not be in Hasa Diga).

I've seen a couple of different generals since Chris Jarman ( voice of tattoo fixers) left.
The current one is shorter - but I thought he was pretty good- definately all in the eyes!!
