I was at the Hackney Empire tonight for the Nonclassical/London Symphony Orchestra concert. Bjork was sitting a couple of rows in front of us.

Yesterday in the audience for Giant I saw David Mitchell with Victoria Coren-Mitchell Oh God, her obsession with Roald Dahl being an anti-semite continues! When she kept dropping it into the conversation on Only Connect to such an extent, it just got a bit weird.

The best way to watch Only Connect is on catch up so you can skip all of the interminable between questions nonsense that VC-M thinks passes as the height of humour. She's as funny as piles.

I thought it was supposed to be cringe: do I need to increase or decrease these agricultural meds to have your level of insight?

I thought it was supposed to be cringe: do I need to increase or decrease these agricultural meds to have your level of insight? The intros and outros are meant to be but the Dahl thing was just weird, she'd be throwing it in during explaining questions and I'm surprised it didn't get edited out.

I missed that. When I miss a Monday, I seem to only watch UniChallenge on catchup. Last I heard she'd politely declined, along with others like Miriam Margolyes, David Baddiel's invitation to publically support David Baddiel's thoughts in his last published work.

I thought it was supposed to be cringe: do I need to increase or decrease these agricultural meds to have your level of insight? I’ve always enjoyed the intros and outros as some weird avant-garde comedy piece, just to see how far she goes with it. It’s so different to the typical broad base-level jokes most quiz shows go for its actually quite refreshing To be fair, I think they are also aware of how many people hate them and they’ve simply doubled down on their bizarreness

I thought I saw Jonathan Bailey the night I went to Giant, which was 17th October but maybe just a lookalike.

Rev Richard Coles was at the NT yesterday, heading towards the Olivier, so presumably seeing Coriolanus.
