They nearly made it into the bad behaviour thread, as they arrived right at the last moment. This reminds me of time when ALW was at Kinky Boots previews. Sat in their seats after the first song, left their seats seconds before the interval started and came back to the auditorium as the first song of the second act was starting.

I was sitting in stalls F1, and they were in sitting in E6 and 7, or thereabouts. So near, theatremadness , but, apparantly, so far. There's always next time!!!

Second trip to see The Ferryman this afternoon. Took Annas this time. Without really looking, we let an old chap go ahead of us as he was in the same row and we assumed (wrongly) that he was going to seats beyond ours. He then did what all Old Dodderers do: he stopped just after the end seat and doddered, with his back towards us, bending down, no doubt to look at the seat numbers. Took forever... I muttered to Annas, “This’ll be us in a few years time,” while we’re still standing there behind him, with others now queuing to get to their seats. Eventually he sorts himself out and lets us pass. Billy Connolly. Looking as nutty as ever in a Tiger bomber jacket. Very excited family next to us who chatted with him and asked him for some photographs outside after the show. Seemed very happy to chat and smile.

Swedish actor "Wallander" Krister Henriksson at Oslo at Harold Pinter Theatre on Friday evening. We first saw him when he entered to pick up the tickets, later when he looked for his seat and he seemed very confused. He was sitting three rows behind us. But he and his female company disappeared before the interval. Yesterday my friend saw him again sitting the row behind her at Network. He made it through the play this time.

Damian Lewis and Helen McCrory at Albion last night! Went to a really nice poetry platform at the NT last night, at which Helen McC was reading and Damian L was in the audience. It finished at just before 7pm so they must have cut it tight! The platform was really warm and cosy and middle-aged, and the fact that I enjoyed it so much made me realise that I am now the elderly audience that younger theatregoers get irritated with - so treat any future comments on productions with due caution!

Ah it was Thursday night I meant for Albion - they were a very cute couple I thought and were holding hands throughout the show!

This is really bugging me...
Last night at Kith and Kin at The Bush there was a striking looking actor who I've seen in a few productions over the years (many NT I think.)
He was tallish, in his 70s I would think, with long white hair and full white beard. He was a dead ringer for Gandalf or Lear (definitely not McKellan or David Weston, though!)
Any ideas who it could be?

Random spot but I'm pretty sure I saw Liam Doyle in the Cov Cineworld foyer tonight. Although he's in the Legally Blonde tour at the mo so who can say?

I think it was Press Night at 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie' last night so I don't think it counts but I did see Dan Gillespie-Sells, Vanessa Feltz and Tony Blackburn. Names names names.

Mike Ball OBE was there too. It must have been a Radio 2 night out, except Elaine, obvs. She only goes to opening nights, dah-ling, mwah, mwah!!!
