I think we can expect him back 6th September, matching up dates from previous years. He does have a break in August and then usually comes back with something pretty big first week of September.

He should be back Fri 31st. His last was the 3rd and he always takes 3 weeks off (10th, 17th, 24th).

OK, I'm going to say it. I've not missed Baz. All of his news gets announced elsewhere anyway. Plus he picks ugly photos of pretty people and that's unacceptable. He can stay off for good for all I care.

Big news from Baz this week - he got annoyed by the staff in a branch of Leon on Kensington High Street.
Have to say that although I use twitter myself sometimes to rant about customer service fails as it's a very effective way of getting a response, it feels a bit bullying if someone with 17K followers rather than my 500 followers does it.

Sometimes. But in my experience, some organisations fail to reply, even when politely reminded, whilst others block you - again, however courteous your tweets.

Big news from Baz this week - he got annoyed by the staff in a branch of Leon on Kensington High Street. I don't think there's anything wrong with people with higher follower counts doing it, but when the company in question asks for details so they can work out what to do next (vouchers? Freebies? Public apology? Retrain the staff in question? Fire the staff in question?), it's a bit absurd to reply with Whatever happened may not actually have been that big a deal, but implying that it was definitely big enough that the staff of a busy branch of a popular eating establishment will remember all the details and be able to accurately recount them when asked definitely makes the branch look bad (and arrogance and potential misjudgement aside, it's not exactly constructive to refuse to provide your side of the story, as we all know that every story comes with a minimum of more-than-one side, and if you're not going to provide yours, then the bosses will be perfectly justified in taking the staff's side in absolute good faith).

Refusing to share details smacks of “do you know who I am?” to me. He is not a recognisable name/famous person and this comment suggests that he just expects to be recognised and remembered. Having worked in customer service, I am willing to bed he will be remembered, as the self-entitled person who was behaving unreasonably.
Sidebar, I was twitter stalking an ex of my and noticed that all he does is use Twitter to complain. Airline status, loyalty status with hotels, Uber drivers. He’s so entitled that he doesn’t realise that any poor social media person on the end of an angry @message will just look at his tweets, see it’s just complaints and not be inclined to help. I agree that social media can be a good way to get the attention of brands in real time, but it’s also a real time indicator of what a total tool you are.

My annoyance that his insta (and his wife’s) are private may or may not have made me consider setting up a fake insta to gain access. Not my finest moment...Not living my best life...But certainly a very enjoyable way to while away an hour...

Finest hour recently was looking up a lad from school to see if he was still as much of a tool as I recall (seems to be) but now Facebook thinks every time I search for anything starting with 'C' I want to look him up again...I really don't once was enough!

I looked up all the kids I could remember from primary school on Facebook a little while ago. Without exception, the women could all be supermodels and the men could all be Mr Potato Head. I'm a bit sad not to have been hit by the supermodel stick myself, but at least I dodged some serious bullets by never marrying the little boys I believed myself desperately in love with when I was 6.
