Well that isn't bizarre news at all.......
Maybe Curve should concentrate on UK Tours and West End Transfers than sending their shows to Hong Kong and South Korea....i mean.

Hmmm, a very strange choice, I didn't see that coming at all!
Wonder when we're going to get some pictures of this production. I know it only played its first show last night but with all these peaks at the set I'm very curious!

Not happy with the news at all - wanted a UK tour but maybe the new production isn't good enough for a uk tour? Do you think it will tour after the Korea show?

Taking the show to Korea for 1-and-a-bit weeks...is it even worth it?! By the time they've paid to ship out the cast/crew/band/set etc for such a short run, how expensive are tickets going to have to be for this to make any money at all?!

Looking at the set, it doesn't look half as good as the original uk tour and London show set! It looks abit naff but I'm probably wrong. What's the chances it will tour after Korea?

Anyone know if they will be doing day seats in South Korea? No, but I do wonder how high the stage will be.

Especially since they already had a Korean language production. Bizarre Racial stereotyping, perhaps, but I have to ask... in the Korean version, when the audience saw Bruiser in Elle's handbag, did they think she'd brought a packed lunch?! Korea ain't China: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_China_They_Eat_Dogs

Set a pink box with the band at the back of the stage behind a mesh screen and exposed briefly during the show. Trap with a lift at the back of the stage to raise performers and bits of set. Other set and furniture on trucks from the wings.
In good shape for only second preview. Energetic cast and choreography.Act 2 better than Act 1.
Mixed bag of lead performances.

Ooh fab, glad to hear it. I'm so looking forward to this show! Would love to hear more about the cast when you've got the time.

Let's not be disingenuous - you didn't *have* to ask, did you?

South Korea is very "musical theatre hungry"! We don't know a lot about it, but they have loads of musicals running there, some MT festivals... So maybe it's a good place to go. I| just wish it was a place a bit closer to Moscow

A very likeable cast led by Lucie Jones as Elle. Jon Robyns transformed from geeky to hunky with a very strong vocal. Danny Mac was nice eye candy as Warner but weaker vocally. I liked Tupele Dorgu as Paulette - very ditzy but not as strong vocally as Jodie Jacobs at the Gatehouse. Ian Kelsey seemed ill at ease with Callahan.
2,.5 hours running time. Full house and enthusiastic reception.

This set interests me. I don't know if it looks good from pictures? I liked the original he London show, with the sunset background etc. Is it better than this? Does it work?

The set is OK. On such a large stage it looks a bit bare occasionally but lots of set float on and off on trucks to keep the show moving.

Good to see use of sets flotation on and off, would've preferred it they did the original idea instead of pink everywhere but they gotta make it there own I guess

Seems like there might be a UK tour in the pipeline, based on a response given on the Josef Weinberger Ltd facebook page which states that request to licence legally blonde are being delayed due to a planned UK tour!

I read that too! It's been on there most of the year. Hope it's true!! I thunk a UK tour would do well to be honest with the right cast and direction

It really is a fantastic musical. Such a shame it didn't get the recognition it deserved in its home country
