I sat in Row J or thereabouts in Manchester, so I didn't have that problem. I think there wasn't much of an orchestra pit in Manchester either, while the pit at the Dominion is huge.
For what's it worth and might be of help to those who haven't seen the show yet: I think the artificial "rocks" and all that stuff that blocks the view from the front row(s) is to the left side of the stage (left when sitting in the stalls) so it may be better to sit on the right side. I think those "rocks" were also hiding that bizarre little swimming pool Falco dropped into? I might of course be remembering all wrong, but I've gone for sitting slightly to the right now. And either way, I've seen it from further back, this time I want to be up close.

As much as I adore this show I shall only be going ‘at the last minute’. The queuing to get on the site is a bit of a joke as once you get on hardly anything has been sold. Will it be another AAIP and indeed Bat the first time, and be discounted on TKTS within weeks? Yes there are people that can afford these prices, yes some will pay them and the corporate sector will continue to pay £250 a ticket to schmooze clients on premium seats (tax deductible see!), even if they only stay for act one before leaving with their ‘dates’ for an evening in their ‘hotel’! 😂

I'm not sure you are even allowed to recover the VAT on theatre tickets, let alone the whole cost of a premium seat. Happy to be corrected but I think HMRC interpret it as a derived benefit. That is not to say that corporates don't have client entertainment funds, though the old "free lunch" is not what it was, even compared with ten years ago.

Top price (non premium) is 25 quid cheaper than Coliseum - £75 - and the premium seats don't take up most of stalls as they do sometimes these days - so whilst still expensive is a BIT better than the previous run!

I think it’s to offset the smell of popcorn & spilt diet coke from the Grease years...a pre-emptive apology if you like...and it is kind of ‘f@cking huge’. The Coliseum, whilst huge, felt organic and like a theatre. The Dominion feels more like an arena at times, especially from the ginormous stalls. I swear row A is in a different time zone from ZZ!

I do think it needs a big show to fill it. Quite liked it when I saw We Will Rock You there but really didn't like the theatre when saw Evita there. Or Elf from the back row of the Circle. Think Bat will be a good fit though. Btw - does anyone know if Sharon Sexton is staying with the show? Her Sloane was epic. Fantastic voice and so alluring I almost fancied her, despite being gay. (I fancied Ben Purkiss more lol)

The Dominion is one fugly place. These depressing brown walls. Yuck. Bathrooms are pretty good though.

Unless I'm missing something on the website that's the Toronto Cast though. They still haven't announced if everyone is coming back to London with the show.

Have looked to see if anyone has commented on this but can't find anything - do we know why the back section of the circle is not on sale at all? Was looking to bag a cheap seat just to see what it's like.

So I wondered this. It is on sale after the preview period though. I have no idea why! Could they be refurbing it?
Have to say is a very long way from the stage there. Sat in the very back row for Elf (owing to the insane prices); have to say even that wasn't worth it for that show!

I looked at the last week of July and it’s not on sale then either. I’ve not found any dates with availability at the back.

Ah interesting. Certainly when I last looked the second month was available. That was a few weeks ago though - maybe they've taken it all off now. No idea why though.
Maybe they think they can't fill it? Rear section of Apollo Victoria was not used for years before Wicked.

Interestingly the first three rows of the stalls have also been taken off sale in their entirety for all dates - bit odd! Also lots of them have already been sold so not sure what sense it takes removing the rest of them. Strange!

That did cross my mind. Certainly, assuming set the same, front three rows of the side blocks shouldn't be on sale as you can't see anything. Centre blocks should be ok though. Especially at Dominion where there is a massive gap between row A and the pit. (Well, massive relative to other theatres). Wonder if/when they will contact people who've already bought tickets for front three rows. Separate question - does anyone know if they are planning an open ended run? Booking for 4 months currently. Know they are considering Broadway and Europe so at some point they must be thinking about whether to be open ended in London and build another set/get another company or continue with this model of basically touring but with very long sit downs! I guess it may depend on sales....

Re-back of the circle, I haven't checked in a couple of weeks but when the tickets went on sale they were being sold for Friday/Saturday shows but not Monday-Thursday. Weird to see the front 3 rows have gone off sale, from the very beginning they held off selling the front 3 rows in the side block on the left for every date, implying that you either won't be able to see anything so it's not worth buying them, or they're holding them back for TodayTix or dayseats or something.

Judging by the looks of it they're holding back all the cheaper seats, can barely find any £15/20 or £35 seats and I've looked at most Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening dates throughout the four months. Was going to book but I'm now holding off until they are put back on sale, if not then I'll just have to hope for dayseats or TodayTix rush/lottery

Hmm, this is weird. I have a seat booked in Row A in the stalls for May and now that I check the performance, it seems indeed that the first rows are no longer on sale. I haven't heard anything from them though about a need to exchange for other tickets, so I hope my seat still exists. At £55 it wasn't a super-cheap seat anyway, but still much better than the rows behind.

Hi
Can someone explain the partial nudity rating? Want to make sure it’s suitable for my family.
Thanks
