No but why would you risk not bringing it? I work in food manufacturing - my ID for work is a blank card with my name on, so doesn’t state I actually work there - so just debating if I need to go to the effort to get a letter that states my employment or not. Business card? Payslip? Most people checking these will have no idea what public sector ID is meant to look like. If it really comes to it, you could say you work for MI5!

Moving on from all this seating talk, Lin Manuel Miranda attended last night with director/writer JJ Abrams, and photos were taken on stage. LMM seemed bowled over by the show, given his comment... http://instagram.com/p/Cza4mRGISFy

Has anyone who qualified for the key worker tickets had any experience yet with showing ID - did they ask to see it like it states on the website? Never for me. ATG predictably far more concerned with thrusting some barcode into everyone's hands so you can get alcohol etc direct to your seat.

He does, poor love! I would have gladly put my jacket around him!

Nicole wont be there saturday the 18th per ATGs email....are refunds available? The best you can do is email them and ask but they’ll avoid it all costs and probably get you to exchange/give you credit at the most because they always say they can’t guarantee cast

I am going Sat 18 Nov evening performance. Thought I was safe and my sister is coming over from overseas. We are also staying at the Savoy.
I hate companies who do this and say they are delighted etc etc to introduce xxx. I didn’t pay to see xxx and in trying to do a dummy booking for 18 Nov there is no mention of Nicole not appearing.
You cannot respond to email and need to fill in a form with your query and they will get back to you 12th of never. They cite unforeseen circumstances and I have asked what they are. It’s almost a sell out too. Bet they get overwhelmed with requests for refunds.
Shame on them and hope Ms Tucker who I have never heard of doesn’t get booed by people who missed the email that Nicole wasn’t appearing

No cast is ever guaranteed and I'm fairly certain the policy is going to tell you that exact thing. Frankly, I'm glad Rachel is getting more performances. She's phenomenal in this role and deserves more than one night a week.

I predicted pages ago that NS would be missing performances by November.

If you've never heard of "Ms Tucker" then you're not very savvy when it comes to musical theatre. She most definitely would not get booed.

Kykobra. I disagree. Never heard of Tucker and wouldn’t have booked expensive tickets if I would have known. I am sure she is perfectly fine but I didn’t book to see her. If you booked to see Sinatra in his day and an understudy turned up would that be acceptable?
Also why are they still selling tickets for that day with no mention of Nicole doing other things? They have hyped this musical up and we get an unknown name. Very disappointed.

I am not a musical snob and I paid to see Nicole. It’s very bad advertising to keep pushing Nicole even today when they know she is not undertaking that performance.

Rachel Tucker has never heard of you either but isn't throwing her toys out of the pram.

Why do I need to be savvy about musical theatre? If Ms Tucker was such a draw then why didn’t she get the part in the first place?

So given it’s clearly a scheduled absence rather than being unwell and unable to perform, what is La Scherzinger doing that day that’s more important than her Sunset contract?
(Is she missing both matinee and evening btw?)

I have a relative from abroad coming and I would rebook if I could but she is making a flying visit. ATG are hiding away behind forms and saying that they will respond to your enquiry with 5 days and resolution within a month!

Yes, it clearly isn’t illness. Maybe she has been paid £££ to sing privately someone around the world.

While I don’t agree with much of what Bolt is saying, I do find it odd that I watched third row seats be returned at £97.50 and subsequently raised to £195 with still no mention of Nicole’s absence.

All of your comments are completely unnecessary. What if she cancelled hours before the performance? What if she has a very important sudden family event she needs to attend?

(Is she missing both matinee and evening btw?) Yeah this isn't a great look. Sickness is one thing, but to randomly pull out is another. Especially as this supposedly wants to go to Broadway, this would be harder to get away with there without refunds. Also very poor of ATG to not update the website. If you go to book either performance there is no pop up message still. Its a customer service basic really.

Why do I need to be savvy about musical theatre? If Ms Tucker was such a draw then why didn’t she get the part in the first place? Because Scherzinger got the gig instead. Tucker is the alternate. This is not unusual in musical theatre.

The suggestion that it's some sort of private gig is dumb, it could be a funeral that she has to go to.

With if being announced in advance I would guess there's a chance she could be photographed at whatever it is so they can't get away with a last minute sicky
