This is so boring. Just manage your ticket issue directly with ATG. Whinging about it on Theatreboard isn't going to fix anything and deliberately belittling another artist just because you know nothing about them isn't a great look.

Looks like Nicole won’t be performing on Friday 17th as well I'm starting to think it's a family engagement that has happened rather this rather ludicrous suggestion of a private gig. |

Have I missed something? What’s the evidence that she won’t be there next Saturday?
Much I dislike them, ATG have been good at flagging up the shows she’s not performing when you go to book.
And if she’s not there. Well actors are human and have lives and life events too I’m afraid. And the alternate is excellent. Though of course I appreciate the frustration of not seeing who you want to, unfortunately it’s just one of those things.

Well surely if ATG are emailing people in advance they are giving them options? And again, much as their communication was beyond awful during the coronavirus they do usually now respond to the online queries in a couple of days. But yeah, compared to others, their service is no doubt suboptimal. |

It's now on ATG booking site that Rachel is performing in both shows on the 18th. No mention as yet about the 17th though.

Kykobra. I disagree. Never heard of Tucker and wouldn’t have booked expensive tickets if I would have known. I am sure she is perfectly fine but I didn’t book to see her. If you booked to see Sinatra in his day and an understudy turned up would that be acceptable? Also why are they still selling tickets for that day with no mention of Nicole doing other things? They have hyped this musical up and we get an unknown name. Very disappointed. Continually referring to Rachel Tucker as an unknown name is just horrifically disrespectful. Saying you're not a musical snob and then being this broken up about Nicole not performing while also continually insulting one of the best female vocalists on the West End is certainly a choice. |

Acting like Broadway and West End star Rachel Tucker is Susan from Dumfries invited on stage to have a go is certainly a choice.
I’ve seen both and no one is in any way getting a lesser experience with Rachel. Two great performances in two different ways.
I’d actually say Rachel is stronger if push came to shove.

Rachel is now listed as performing on 17 November. They should give you options to rebook if they know this ahead of time. Not sure about a refund....

Can we all just calm down please. People are allowed to be upset that the named star isn’t performing and Rachel Tucker really is not known outside of the MT bubble. Disagree by all means but let’s keep it civil please.

Lara is ‘standby’ so I guess ‘emergency’, whilst Rachel’s Monday nights & select dates are all announced. Presumably Lara is normally in the building throughout with an adult colouring book, caning the wi-fi. |

The hysterics on here... man oh man. Think back to when Glen was at the ENO for a month and got sick for three days and there was no chance of rescheduling, you found out when you got to the venue. And got a refund or went and enjoyed the show for what it was. There's no obligation to tell why Nicole can't perform that evening and my first thought was a funeral as well. I doubt highly she would blow off two-three performances for "another gig."
