I’ve listened to tracks 1, 3 and 4 from the EP many times in the past week!

I like the songs, they have a similar vibe to Operation Mincemeat to me.

Had a great evening seeing this last night! Loads of laughs, catchy tunes and excellent performances. No missed mic cues that I noticed, and it felt very tight. Was my first time seeing this and didn’t have any issues with any performers diction or characterisation.
Was sat in stalls row C and didn’t have any issues with the high stage. One of the benefits of being sat so close was being able to read the titles of the true crime books that were being pulled from a desk in one of the flashback scenes - one in particular was hilarious.

I saw this last night too, for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Thought it was original, funny, quirky and enjoyable. The stage is definitely very high so I would avoid the first few rows. I thought the cast were excellent; both in terms of vocals and comedy skills/timing. Only one missed mic cue.

Bronte & Bex "looking killer" for their press night (tonight apparently). Hope this show gets the buzz it deserves.

Seems like tonight's Act 2 was cancelled because of a leak on stage.
Hopefully it can get fixed up soon. On press night too!!

Gutted for them! I really hope all the press who came tonight are willing and able to return.

Article starts off pretty poorly: "The theatre landscape is changing. A few decades ago, the West End was packed with classic musicals and Shakespeare adaptations, but now they're making way for a new type of show".What does "Shakespeare adaptations" even mean? Shakespeare interpretations? Or does a BBC Arts journalist think stage Shakespeare is another lazy film-to-stage adapation of his original movies? ; ) The set up's to suggest it's a very surprising thing to have a North of England based musical in the West End. I guess they've not heard of 'Blood Brothers' 'Billy' 'Andy Capp' 'Spend Spend Spend', or 'Betty Blue Eyes'? You're right @n1david it does then get onto more firm ground, talking about small-scale musicals and their route to the West End, but up til then....

Absolutely loved it! Saw it tonight with two friends after class, absolutely hilarious! Unfortunately I had to skip the QnA to catch the last train home, but I would love it if they could upload it to Youtube or something.
I would love a live cast recording on yellow and black vinyl 🙂

How was that Standard review allowed to be posted? Again, as explained in the critics thread, I read reviews like this and it says more to me about a person's character than the show itself.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Martin McDonagh were in attendance (presumably watching ahead of the Q&A Phoebe is hosting next week)

How can you publish a review when you only saw Act 1. Ridiculous. Also, that reviewer is taking it (and themselves) far too seriously. It's a laugh. A spoof. It's fun!

How was that Standard review allowed to be posted? Well I shall certainly be avoiding any show HE recommends. You can say a show is not your sort of thing without being so unpleasant about it!

Seems like the reviewer had made up his mind before even seeing it. Presumably a hater of Six as well given the sneering comments towards the Edinburgh Fringe. I wonder if the reviewer has even been to Edinburgh for the festival.

Nick Curtis famously hates fun - why are you surprised this was his take.
