I think this has been blown out of proportion, and the original tweet had already been deleted. It's unofficial/semiofficial policy at several shows to not advertise in advance (and this gets dropped very often) so maybe a reminder happened? I don't think it's as dramatic as Twitter is making it out to be, although it is silly to try ban. Various other shows have similar policies.

Dex Lee is leaving for a play at the royal court.
Sarah Naudi posted on Twitter about her last Nina cover date, could be that she's leaving or just no longer cover Nina?

Picked this over Sixpence for my annual trip to Chichester last weekend and loved it. The start with the audio clips of steel in the news throughout history was so gripping and worked to get you immediately stuck into the play. I loved the acting, a nice piece altogether. Hope for a transfer for this one.

Are any cast members scheduled to be on holiday in 2-10 December 2016? Thanks... ST I believe multiple cast members are leaving at the start of December so you certainly won't get the current main cast.

They've not announced anything, but there must be. Jocasta Almgill, Philippa Stefani, Josie Benson and Cleve September are all leaving on the 4th of September but no replacements have been announced. (There are probably more leaving then too). If I remember correctly some replacements weren't announced until after they started back in April... I wonder if this'll be the same.

Won the ticket lottery today and I have to say I enjoyed Dean's performance a lot more from front row where you get a great view of his facial expressions. Couldn't hear him very well though, quiet mic plus being next to the pit band meant I had no chance. Marsha Songcome was on as Jasmine and she was just wonderful, much preferred her to Jade Ewen. The part itself is so limited and she really did a lot with a little. Oliver Lidert was the Genie and he was great too! Full house for a Monday night and a good crowd for the lottery too.

At one venue on the most recent Evita tour I had a second row seat on the edge. When the show started it was so loud there (near the speakers) that everything was shaking and you couldn't hear the singing over the music. Quickly moved a bit further back and that was much better. Incidentally Cabaret in the same venue a year (or so?) before was fine from the same seats.
I also have a raging headache after seeing Kinky Boots from the front row day seats too but that could be the overall loudness rather than just the volume.

I wonder if Victoria Hamilton-Barritt might come back for the remaining weeks, I much preferred her as Daniela so here's hoping.

A variety of things- composer, subject matter, if there's particular performers in the show, is it affordable. If I'm undecided by the time it opens I'll check my favourite reviewer and see what they think of it. I'll always see a Kander and Ebb show and I tend to not bother with jukeboxe musicals.

Phoenix only has a short dark period so if they do fill it it'll be likely something from a touring production or a short run. I don't see it being Hedwig.
Intrigued to hear more about this though.

Does anyone know if Jocasta will be scheduled to play Daniela again before she leaves? When does she leave? 4th September

I bought tickets to the anniversary show, it'll be the first time I've seen Wicked since the first time Kerry Ellis was in the show. And then I promptly won a pair of tickets in a tombola this weekend... so I guess I'm seeing Wicked more this Autumn than I've ever seen before?! Waiting to hear on what the seats I won will be but have some cheap circle ones for the anniversary show!

Saw this today, my first trip to the Watermill. Really enjoyable show, have got to say the highlight was I Got Rhythm, and I enjoyed the actor/musician aspect - especially as I wasn't expecting it (had avoided any info about the show so things would remain a surprise) so that was fun!

Hearing whispers this is coming to the end of it's time. Shame, but it's had a cracking run! As in earlier than it's current booking period through Oct? They're losing a fair amount of cast members in just over a month, so it's possible.

They frequently do 9 show weeks (with the Friday matinee as the ninth performance) during peak times, they did a couple of them in April too.

Sarah was on as Vanessa yesterday when I went, and Jocasta as Daniela so I'm guessing it only took Josie or the actress who plays Abuela to be off for them to run out of Vanessa covers! Other than Sarah and Jocasta covering roles though it was very full yesterday, great ensemble. Dex Lee is great as Benny, he's clearly put a lot of thought into the character and it was a great take on the role.

Bought my ballet tickets today! One round each of Anastasia and Fille, I'm a little tired of the Nutcracker but I'm sure I'll inevitably end up going and enjoying it again. Likely to add a Fille too, I've booked for Hayward/Sambé but have got to see Marianela again. Oops. Taking a ballet newbie to that one, too.

Jealous you got to see Philippa as Camila. I wish we could see a picture. How did she have her hair? Re: picture - Sarah put one on her public Instagram account http://instagram.com/p/BHxvAOzDzo8

I'm looking at going next Thursday and the Stalls and Dress are pretty much sold out barring the odd single seat. I presumed this was the Rebel Wilson effect but is this a one off? Haven't looked at other dates I believe press have been invited for tonight.

Have they got any more Southwark cast left to come and fill roles? They must be running out soon. They brought in Raffaella Covino from SW to play Gabriela Garcia's old track and be 1st cover Nina I know, that's why I made the joke... Never mind!

Carolee Carmello has just tweeted that Tony Yazbeck is staying with the show on Broadway, so I assume Alfie isn't coming back after all. His voice didn't mesh with the song style imo, and he's not much of a mover. He was a casting choice I could never quite understand. I enjoy this show a lot - total guilty pleasure I have to admit!

Saw this again last night, never seen the stage so full of people! From what I was hearing, David Bedella should be back soon as Vas's last scheduled date as Kevin is this weekend coming. Only two weeks left of Joe Aaron Reid in the company, and it looks like Dex Lee from the original Southwark cast is going to be replacing him. Have they got any more Southwark cast left to come and fill roles? They must be running out soon.

Some ongoing problem, I believe. Very sad. The first cover had a wedding to attend yesterday hence the second cover being on.

Took a return trip to Show Boat today as I heard the second understudy for Joe was on, what a talented cast! Got to schedule a few more trips in over the next two months.

Saw the show for the first time since Chichester today, I enjoyed the slightly younger casting for Nathan and Adelaide as Polycarpou stuck out a little awkwardly in Chichester despite being a world-class performer. Got the day seats - my friend turned up at 9:30 and said there were only three people ahead of her waiting - unfortunately this also came with a view of the frustrated MD tapping his watch (?) whenever someone milked something- usually Simon and Oliver as Nathan and Sky. Loved the main cast for the most part, not totally sure what Rebel Wilson was doing at times but her interaction with Simon especially was splendid. I forgot how great the choreography for this version is! Enjoyable, bargain price and the music is always great. Overall a thumbs up from me!

Just got in the dayseat line for tonight, 20 people in front of me right now, no one behind me. EDIT: By 10am, 4 others joined behind me. I managed to grab the last dayseat for both shows (I was buying for the evening) so now they are dotting the leftovers to the stalls. Though they are getting split up around the theatre as the only ones left, for the evening show anyway, are single seats. It is what I love about the Savoy box office staff, never a bad experience, they do anything to get you in the show at a cheap price! Haha, I was at the front of the queue! Fifth time seeing the show (one of those at the Menier) and I just love it, brought my friend who hadn't seen it before and they enjoyed it too. There's always something fun about sharing a show with a newbie!

Personally I struggled to sympathise with Eliza until the latter part of the show, a lot of her characterisation is initially shown through other people talking about her instead of her own words. It doesn't help that her first solo (ish) number is entirely about being "helpless" when she first meets the male protagonist. Rolling my eyes a bit about that.
