I've never heard of a single one of them. Same here. I have no ides how much experience any of them have however what struck me looking at the headshots was how young and fresh-faced they all look.

I was recently in Melbourne at the end of February. Although we say Groundhog Day, Jason Donovan was in the Rocky Horror show was playing a lock or two away.
Although I didn't see the show, we passed the theatre and saw the awing on the tram.

This really does need a reboot. Agreed. The current tour has been on the go for about a decade now - and Kristian Lavercombe has done almost every date as Riff Raff. My issue with the production is that all of the character takes are essentially impressions of the people who played them in the movie. It looks tired, it looks cheap. It’s time to retire it. I’d love a new interpretation of it with different takes on the characters. Give us a Frank which isn’t just a pale imitation of Tim Curry. As much as I love Rocky Horror (and I really do!) that the thing isn't it. I never saw him on stage, only on film, but Tim Curry did such a brilliant job and left such an impression that, as you have accurately stated, anything else feels like a mere imitation!

What's the situation with merchandise for this show?
Are they selling any? If so, what? I'm looking for a theatre poster.

I'm not a fan of Alfie Boe but I also just don't see him fitting into any of JRB's music. I agree erik24601

As much as I love Jason Robert Brown's body of work (Parade is a movie musical waiting to happen and The Bridges of Madison County is subline) and despite attending most of his previous London concerts, I don't think I'll be attending this.
I know that both Cynthia Enrivo and Alfie Boe can really sing however neither are performers who appeal to me in any way.
I actually saw Cynthia Enrivo perform 'I Can Do Better Than That' from The Last 5 Years at a previous Jason Robert Brown concert approximately 10 yeas ago at the Royal Festival Hall and she got 5 standing ovations!

There was a massive full-sized poster for this in the foyer when I turned up at the box office to purchase tickets to see Groundhog Day.

Let's not forget that many will never forgive her for dragging this on for years and wasting the valuable resources of Curve and her former agents. She ruined her own career through being a homophobic bigot. Simple as that. I tend to agree. Whilst I have no problem with you fighting if you feel an injustice has been served, the longer this continues, ultimately, her career will be ruined as no one will hire her. At what point do you become the monster that you're fighting?

I flew back on the second leg of my journey from Kuala Lumpur to London and as part of the in-flight entertainment they were screening the above, staring Mayim Bialik- most recently seen as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
According to Wikipedia:
Call Me Kat is an American television sitcom largely based on the British sitcom Miranda by Miranda Hart that aired on Fox from January 3, 2021, to May 4, 2023. The series stars Mayim Bialik as Kat, and includes Cheyenne Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant, and Swoosie Kurtz. Leslie Jordan was also featured until his death on October 24, 2022. The series was developed by Darlene Hunt. In May 2023, the show was cancelled after three seasons.
Co-incidentally both Miranda Hart and Jim Parsons- Sheldon Cooper on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory- are executive producers.
No sure where, or if this is streaming anywhere here in the UK.
As I had previously watched three other films and we had experienced severe turbulence, I only watched two episodes of this.
What a strange beast this was. Personally I found the whole thing to be very strained and filmed in the American sitcom format.
Each character waves at the end of each episodes, just as they did in Miranda- only Miranda did it better.

I too am thrilled that this got a pro-shoot however I'm curious, what's the connection with The National for it to be streamed on their platform?

I live in London and regularly go into the foyers of theatres to purchase merchandise.
The problem is that it's not uncommon for official show websites not to have anything listed about merchandise.
Im usually explain up front that I do not have a ticket and do not want to get in to see the show, merely the foyer to purchase merchandise and in most cases the okay with that. Sometimes they can be a little cautious or make you return at a certain time.
On occasion, to show that I am genuine, I have even suggested that someone escorts me.
However I too did experience a problem at the Gillian Lynne theatre when (at the time) Lloyd Webber's Cinderalla was playing. The Gillian Lynne Theatre was one of the few theatres that I have never been in - I have since- so has no idea of the layout of either the theatre, or its foyer area and was told flatly there was no merchandise on sale.
Hard to believe when it's a Lloyd Webber show but as I couldn't get past security and they weren't willing to believe me.

I saw this a couple of years ago at the Charing Cross theatre.
Clearly a lot of thought had gone Ito the lyrics, one or two of the songs were even humble; however the deliver was poor. (From memory) minimal sets and costumes.
Definitely a 'meh' type of musical.
Lets wait and see what the reincarnated version has in store.

(For what it's worth) and for anyone interested, the pro-shoot production is available to view on YouTube. I watched it last night.
Very well filmed and towards the end, when Jenna is in the hospital having just given birth, she's holding a real baby!
