I think we going to get a no deal.
And with China and it's allies off the picture the main trade deal is going to be the USA.
Was getting no deal from the day dodgy Dom Cummings won A lot of the red wall brexit voters still think they will notice the amount of immigrants in their area reducing - not sure it will happen.

Now on to the second stage where testing is expanded to the USA and Brazil - our cases are now too low for the next stage (Where they wiil test to see if prevents infection when the person comes into contact with the virus.) to held entirely here. I am not sure exactly how long they need but I imagine at least a couple of months as the BBC mentions they also need to check stuff regarding how long the vaccine lasts for.

This is the tweet I thought I was posting.

I think it's quite possible the movement to ban Tik Tok will be a serious political isue - obviously the virus is only one of several reasons China is seen to deserve to be sanctioned but it's probably the one which resonates with the public the most - and to try and ban something popular with the non political it will get very dirty.

There was an offer of help with the ordering if we needed it anyway, so the olds don’t need to be left out of new style dining fun. That's good.

Heard it - first time in months the congregation has been heard having a sing - only one or two hymns compared to normal. Are you absolutely certain it's 'live' singing, rather than a recording being played over the PA? I genuinely can't see any church flouting the rules and finding itself at the centre of a scandal. Sounded live - hopefully not through.

Through there is a proportion of people who don't have the technology or technological skills to use App's - my parents for example - will business want to turn away people if they can't use an app?
The Sun Newspaper is warning of the risks of leaving your name and address in pubs in open books due to data security issues.

The Church near mine has resumed singing despite it not being legal yet Have you heard it with your own ears, or is it just hearsay? Heard it - first time in months the congregation has been heard having a sing - only one or two hymns compared to normal.

The Church near mine has resumed singing despite it not being legal yet - the majority of the people that go there are elderly as well. So maybe there will be a big demand to go theatre and risk the virus if high risk people are risking it.

TFL are outright lying by showing footage of buses full of mask wearing knowing full well usage on a bus is usually around 50%.

I wonder if Les Mis the Concert could make a comeback at the Sondheim This is the sort of thing that 100% could happen, though sadly given Cameron's repeated view that he'll only open when pre corona conditions are restored, is very unlikely to happen. Would have to be different to the Gielgud version. Just the usual 15 piece orchestra, spaced out at upper back of stage (or maybe half there and half in pit) and a smaller cast. I don't think it needs star names in these culture deprived times and if they charged 100 quid a ticket I am sure they'd sell out and am sure they could make some money. Even with 1/3 ish capacity and distancing. It's the kind of thing I'd love to see the big expensive shows doing as a temporary (cheaper for them) solution. Would people really pay a £100 a ticket to see unknowns sing the roles?

I wonder if Les Mis the Concert could make a comeback at the Sondheim? Maybe but I imagine the wage bill (Due to star names) would need reducing a fair bit to make selling less tickets viable.

Problem is a concrete Stage 5 date cannot be given until not too long before date it begins due to the virus being unpredictable. November is the provisional plan but nobody knows what the situation will be like then for it to be concrete - if it was 100% certain that in November it will be safe to have no SD in theatres then they be no need to keep the Nightingales on reserve till the end of March.

It all comes down to excess deaths that Political posturing will not make go away. If the COVID deaths proportion reduces then we have an increase in the deaths from other routine treatable diseases that were impacted by the reduction in hospital and GP services. All the Government are doing is moving the deck chairs but the ONS excess deaths above 5yr average will not go away. There are already murmurings that the COVID strategy has increased treatable deaths and may be better for the Government if the numbers remain hidden in the COVID figures. Through if excess deaths go to monthly or quarterly announcing it might be a long time to notice.

I think a big problem is getting insurance to cover the risks - shows with limited costs will return first. I also imagine it be easier to get them started if performers were paid per performance to remove costs if forced to cancel performances.
I imagine Panto's will be deciding if they can afford to open on 50-75% capacity - if they can then the ability to sell more tickets later on will be a great a bonus but 100% capacity by Christmas is only an ambition and by no means a certainty and is too much of a financial gamble for most productions.

I bet we go back to hospital only with care homes only reported via ONS figures.

I can't see any adjustment to the figures would be hugely significant. If you look at the graphs of daily new cases and daily deaths they follow very similar curves, with a rapid rise to a peak and then a slow fall back towards zero, which is exactly the pattern you see in other countries such as Italy, Spain, Germany and France and suggests that death rates are being calculated fairly accurately everywhere. The excess death rate is the one that is most trustworthy. The late admittance of asymptomatic transmission and death has led to numbers being undercounted. I had to return to post that the telegraph is now telling everyone its PHE deliberately over-counting to create fear. The goverment is going to get the blame for ecnomic damage put on PHE as well at this rat.

Only if they pass the pilot opening's first. A predictably negative spin as always. You must be gutted at today's good news? How is that post not bullying.

Theatres open again from 1 August with COVID measures? So that's the Stage 4 date finally. Really glad to see this - plenty of challenges ahead but it's a positive step. Only if they pass the pilot opening's first.
