I wonder if Cinderella will be played by a west end star like Samantha Barks or one of the Strallen sisters. With Lea Mead as the prince it will be someone who can match him vocally.

Barbara Windsor Eastenders return, aired over just five episodes, was filmed over 6 weeks to help her cope with the workload. She was never in contention for 12 shows a week. She's virtually retired from show bussiness now.

Baz said no date for further casting but should be soonish. I think it be the step sisters next then Cinderella as the last announcement. Maybe an older lady at the castle as well to go with Nigel Havers.

Decent casting. As a side note Does hint that she is leaving BGT through as they usually start filming first week of Jan I wonder when the step sisters and Cinderella herself will be announced?

My mum said Nadia Sawalha mentioned on loose women she had a project at Christmas but she don't think she explored it. If she is free ( which is unlikely as she probably wouldn't hint) could it be her and her sister Julia as the step sisters?

I was shocked the wizard of Oz finically failed. It was fantastic and is perhaps the most well known musical of all times.

Interesting that they have only announced male members of the cast. Makes me think that maybe in this production the Sisters will be played by the likes of a female comedy duo rather than men like in traditional panto and they will be announced alongside the casting of Ciderella and The Fairy Godmother. Or maybe real life sisters..... You called it right last time on this thread. So am Intrigued by what you saying. Possibilities then Kylie and Danni Minogue?. Two of the Kardashians? The Appelton sisters? Two of the Nolan sisters?

Yeah that seems to be the case. Unlikely to have three performers in drag. Has been rumoured they want French and Saunders for the parts.

Surely the biggest impact could be an economic recession and the loss of tourists who keep the west end afloat. A show about this time could be interesting One actor could easily do Boris and Trump and just change the accent and mannerisms.

I've heard that the first anyone at RU knew about Britters was that Monday morning when someone in the office asked if they'd read the Sunday Mirror. Make of that what you will. Have you heard any possible date for the rest to be announced or who they may be.

I wonder who it will be. Lol at the ugly sisters. I have a vision a while ago Anne Widercombe would be the fairy godmother if they want a real bonkers star. She was in a pantos a few years ago

Be a bit strange to have the cindrella barely appear. A big star cameo would suit the fairygodmother role more. (Who is mentioned right at the top of leaflets which could be a hint someone big is playing that role.

Id say average age was about 50. Quite a lot of cheering especially after the first old Man river. About half stood up ( I didn't but I don't like standing up in one place for long).

Fantastic show. I loved the view from the side. First time I've ever seen faces properly in a west end show and what a difference it makes. You feel much closer to what is going on . Biggest applause of the afternoon was for Sandra and Tosh (Joe and Quennie)id say. 85% full in the stalls 50% in the balcony.

This does not end to Jan 16th. I do wonder why there been a gap anyway in the casting. I cant see anyone being announced for a few more days. Doubt anyone next Thursday night being the referendum night.

Well, interval thoughts, its a beautiful show! The set, costumes, overall design really is gorgeous! When those wooden panels raised at the beginning, the set actually took my breath away. The performances are great all around, its a pretty phenomenal cast. Gina and Chris are such a great pairing together!it is a great balance of comedy and drama, it is defiantly alot deeper but also more comedic when I expected. I am so, so glad I chose spur of the moment to see this and went in with no knowledge! Audience is about 80% full in the stalls I'd say, the ends of the balcony I can see are empty bar a couple of people. It was funny, once the lights went down, you just saw all the people at the far ends of the stalls near the wall of the stage move more central, almost like a wave! Thanks. Is the understudy announced pre show or did you look on the board?

It can do through. Especially for anyone booking after the first exchanges were given during the Meneir run. The Impression that a refund or exchange might be given has in others areas of industry overruled exclusion clauses.

I mean the terms of no refunds exchanges due to cast absences might be considered void because the theatre has in practice of offered exchanges and even refunds apparently for her absence,

I wonder if anyone will attempt a court case for a refund owing to the fact exchanges are given owing to Sheridan's absence which might overrule any written contract terms.

Can I ask how busy it was? Around 80% full I would say. That's good. Hopefully be a similar amount in two weeks time through quite a lot of seats remain on sale.
