Really lifewithjoe? So Marisha won't be part of the show after next week at all? I was quite interested to see her, don't think i will get the chance now. Yes. I've booked for Wednesday cause she is on- she replied to a tweet. She was always a temp Effie. Ruth wants to be ready by Feb (new schedule) so it all makes sense.

Can I just say with some of these ridiculous comments- everyone is entitled to opinions however, Marisha was ALWAYS a temp Effie. She has 1 left which is Wednesday.
And with all these comments about Ruth, has anyone considered that there might be a real serious reason she hasn't been on and that they have flown a Broadway star to help alternate?
No one knows the real reason she hasn't been on, she could be ill mentally or physically, a family bereavement? No one knows so cut her slack. I'm sure if she 'couldn't be bothered' to do the job then they would of got rid of her by now... the producers know what they are doing.
And all these people making negative comments, would you have the capability?!

Apologies if this has been asked before but is Marisha the 1st alternate Effie now? She's back on tonight according to her instagram and I'm keen to return to the show, seeing someone else's take on the role. Its meant ot be Karen today so I assume Karen is ill. But Marisha and Karen alternate and when Ruth decides to learn the role she will alternate with them too. But all jokes aside, the three of them alternate one performance a week. There hasn't yet been a time where an emergency meant one had to go on in 2017, but I would imagine Marisha wouls be the first to get the call, mainly because of the incrddible word of mouth and the fact she moved continents to play the role, so they really should give her more than one show every three weeks. When there is an alternate performance, the first alternate would go on. Marisha has only got 1 more show left which is next week and then the new schedule comes back when Ruth & Karen will alternate. Marsisha was called because Ruth hadn't learnt it. There will only be 2 alternates at a time.

Can anyone tell me, is there some form of database of web page online of casting for previous performances of when a understudy was on? I once came across a list of dates and the cast on for that performance. It wasn't the Wicked Wiki productions info but trying to chase back any understudies I may have had...? Hope you can help! Many thanks. I know the innuendooutnuendo forum has very active "at this performance" threads for each production where they post when an understudy goes on, just look by the date of each post- that might help I think What subject on this forum do you think I need to look at? Thanks ever so much for your help x

I would love Kara or an American Glinda over here. Katie Rose Clarke would be a dream!

Bit of a random one but I'd love Lauren Stroud to come back as a lead...!

Anyone thought that it could be Carrie Hope Fletcher joining from October? Possible Glinda?- or is this a really stupid idea? Haha!

I would really like Rachel Tucker to come back just because I haven't seen her Elphaba... However, I really hope the current leads aren't extending, I do really like Savannah but it seems like forever since we last had a new Glinda. I would love to see Emily again but fresh blood would be great.

I'm seeing this tonight, let's see how it pans out. I got rid of my ticket for the Louise Dearman charity concert in Dunstable for this and if the truth be told I am beginning to regret it now I wouldn't judge it until you've been. I really enjoyed it. And truth be told, it's up there with the concert that Louise Dearman & Kerry Ellis done at the Prince Edward Theatre.

What did Liam Doyle sing? Love his voice and was sad to miss it in Cardiff. They all had there fair share of songs! He was heavily featured.

When I went to see Wicked UK Tour a few years ago, Adam Woodyatt was in the audience with his family. I've been to A Chorus Line where there was a lot of West End Actors supporting friends. Also Bonnie Langford for Scarlett Strallen.

This production started rehearsals on 11th April and opened on 21st April - so 10 days in total (assuming they rehearsed every day) - can anyone tell me if this rehearsal period is typical for a 2 hour show? It's about 2 and 1/2 hours long.

Wow, very very interesting review to get the ball rolling for this one! I however, was actually taken back by the show. I thought the whole cast were phenomenal. I loved the medleys of the genres and thought Danielle Hope's performance was beautiful. And very much enjoyed the Les Mis section. Phillip Schofield was exactly like on the TV- caring, enthusiastic and charming. Was lovely to see him sing Joseph as well- really good voice. I loved the show and was a beautiful evening out. Also wanted to mention Simon Schofield who was very good. I've seen him in a couple of things before but really liked his voice. Very strong! Amazing how two people can see the same show and form two completely different opinions! That's what makes the world such a wonderful colourful place. I'm pleased you enjoyed the show. At least we both agree that Phillip was excellent and Simon Schofield was very good :-) Yes, I know- isn't it funny? I really enjoyed the show. Phillip Schofield was fab. Really interesting review though.

Hey, I've been away from this thread. Can someone update me? Cast change? Cast change is supposed to be on the 3rd September, but this information has been taken down from the show's website again. No-one knows who's leaving and who's staying on. Another possibility might be that the current cast simply extend their contracts until after the 10th anniversary show (27th September). Nothing has been confirmed as of yet and we're only speculating. We do hope that the International Tour and London casts will be announced shortly. Thank you! ?

I'm so looking forward to this musical coming over to London! Such a beautiful story. I am very much excited about Kelsey Grammer, and I'm 19! First knew of him when I was about 16 and I've never seen him in anything... Alfie Bow I haven't seen live either. Laura Michelle Kelly I truly am hoping that she comes across with the production although I could see Danielle Hope in this? Or a Strallen?
