I was also there last night and had such a brilliant time! I forever regretted not being able to see it at the National so I'm so glad I got to hear that score with such an incredible cast! I now get why so many of my friends loved the show so much. As a newcomer to the show, I only struggled a little bit with the plot at times, which I guess is to be expected with a concert performance as opposed to a fully staged one.

George Blagden, Samuel Barnett, Mark Anderson, Lauren Samuels, Tori Amos all at the Light Princess last night. Saw a few other faces that I recognised but I couldn't quite place them. Ah I thought it was Mark Anderson I was walking behind as I walked from Victoria to Sloane Square but I didn’t fully see his face to know for sure. I assumed if it was him he was also on his way to Cadogan Hall but I didn’t see him inside. He walked past me a few times in the venue and I ended up stood near him for a little bit when he was talking to Mark Shenton whilst I was waiting for a friend

I got to see the show yesterday. I saw the Off-Broadway production just after it opened in 2014 so it was interesting experience yesterday, particularly as the atmosphere in the audience was very different. On a whole, I think that in a lot of ways this production is better than the previous one I saw (no more blue!). I did prefer the choreography Off-Broadway, especially for Candy Store. Heather Duke's new song is awesome (I'm so glad they added it.)
I was pleasantly surprised by CHF. I'm far from a fan of hers but I found her Veronica to be compelling and her voice fits the music wonderfully. Jamie Muscato was a brilliant JD and the Heathers and Martha were perfectly cast in my opinion.
Our Steve moment was quite hilarious. The man chosen was sitting next to a child and a woman and Rebecca Lock asked him if he had brought his wife and child to her assembly and then introduced herself to the woman.

Not a spot in a theatre but on my way to Warren Street Station this afternoon I saw Glenn Carter and April Pearson (Michelle from skins) walking arm in arm down Tottenham Court Road. Thought it was a bit of an odd pairing but apparently they're in a play together.

I'm glad that Sam's returning! Saw him as an understudy and really enjoyed his performance so I'm looking forward to see how a few years out the show will have changed things.

Also, gotta say, its got to be only a matter of time before Sean Kingsley (played the Father) lands in Les Mis..? He's already been in it! Played Valjean in 2004

Forgot to say, I loved the spoonman’s song in the bar during the interval. Also, does the clown’s ‘headdress’ usually come off at one point? Not normally!

Oooooo what a strange little show. Will write my proper thoughts later, but I think I enjoyed it. To comment on my earlier thoughts, the two leads climbed up to Row I and then Grinpayne had to hold my hand for balance as he was right in front of me. Thankfully it didn't bother me too much, I was on his side, the show wasn't as scary than I imagined haha. Although question: at the end after the sword fight, he had blood on his hand. Is this intentional or was it an accident? As he seemed to make a point of being careful not to get any blood on me or his co-star even though I was holding the bloody hand. Yeah it's intentional! My friend ended up with fake blood on her hand from him after one our trips...

I'm seeing the show tomorrow gor the first time. I'm more intrigued than excited at the minute. I've read a few times on here about the climbing over the audience toward the end of the show and this sounds like hell to me being slightly claustrophobic doesn't help, so I'm hoping its either not over me or its not as bad as I'm imagining it to be. Whereabouts are you sitting? Because they only climb over {Spoiler - click to view} the very centre seats in rows D-G

What’s the cast like at the moment and is the current cast on through June? The cast at the moment is really strong on a whole! Both times I've seen the cast I've seen Luke McCall as The Phantom (not sure where Ben Lewis or Scott Davies are at the moment) and I think he's become my new favourite Phantom. He reminds me of a mix between John Owen-Jones and Ramin Karimloo. I'd probably say the weakest link in the cast is Jeremy Taylor, who plays Raoul (I'm a big Raoul fan so I was very disappointed in his performance) As far as I know they're all contracted through to the start of September.

A friend and I were at the first preview tonight (B26 & 27 in the royal circle) and had a brilliant night! Daniel Evans came out at the top of act one and gave a brief speech, saying how because it was a first preview there was a chance that things could go wrong (as it was, one of the screens hanging from the truss in front of the proscenium wasn't working but it did not really affect things too much)
I didn't really know too much about the Ingram scandal going into it, having been too young at the time, but I don't think this really hampered my enjoyment of the piece. The set and video designs were brilliant, and the audience participation worked really well.
The cast were all brilliant, although Keir Charles deserves a special mention for his scenestealing and uncanny portrayal of Chris Tarrant (among others). Gavin Spokes and Stephanie Street played the Ingrams well, although I did not find them to be overly sympathetic.
I definitely thought showing the result of the final audience vote of previous performances was interesting (in this case the board presented the results of the final ten performances in Chichester).
Just so others don't make the mistake my friend and I did, the voting remotes are hanging from a black string on the back of the chair in front of you. We didn't find ours until the interval, so we missed most of the voting aspect.
I definitely would recommend going to see it! I never got to see it at Chichester so I can't say how it compares but it does work well at the Noel Coward, and judging by the audience reaction at the end, others felt the same way.

I'm so glad this show has extended! Especially after the Olivier nomination snubs. Have now booked for the new closing night (having already booked for april 14th). Not quite sure what I'm going to do with my free time when this finally closes but I'm so glad that this show has been able to have a spectacular run

Managed to catch David Beardsley as Ursus last night and thought that he was incredible (I believe it was his second performance in the role). Much prefer him to Sean Kingsley and would definitely recommend trying to catch him. He added a refreshing tenderness to the role and played a little more into the showman' side of Ursus from the novel

I was at the show twice this weekend (in my defence I went with different people) and as David Dirry-Moire says in the show, it was even better than the last time! It's been a long time since I've loved a show this much. Such brilliant performances from everyone (particularly Louis Maskell and Sanne Den Besten)
A few little mishaps.. on friday the crimson leith bottle wasn't set on the bed for act two which ended up with some hilarious improvisation on Julian Bleach's end whilst a bottle was acquired. And then last a man in the front row (that single seat on house left) ended up getting stuck under the tail of the velvet gown.

Anyone know how well this is selling? I remember reading here a few months back thst the cast are apparently on a years contract (did I imagine this?), is it selling well enough to justify extension thst far ahead? It's been pretty packed both times I've been to see it! Only a few empty seats from what I could see

Out of pure interest what seat numbers were you demelza ? I'm now wondering whether we're sat in the line of fire so to say (and debating whether to warn my mate who's coming with) I was D11 and my mum was D10! D12, 13 and 14 are definitely in the line of fire!

Saw the matinee today (saw the show friday evening and loved it that much I decided to see it during my free afternoon). Loved the show even more the second time round and it was great to get a better look at the prosthetic as I was on the edge of row H on friday. I really hope they end up doing a cast recording - it's already sneaked it's way into my top 5 musicals! It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a musical, it's nice. I have to say that the seating plan on the ATG website is a little misleading. Book a pair of seats in row D that I thought were a few seats down from the platform above the entry, ended up being right next to it. {Spoiler - click to view} Had I been one seat to my left I would have ended up being clambered over... not that I would have minded too much!

Saw Belleville this afternoon with a friend. Went in not really knowing much about the plot but we both enjoyed it well enough although to be fair, James Norton could read the yellow pages and I'd be entertained!

Saw JK Simmons and a man who bore an uncanny resemblance to Robson Green at the KBTC/RADA Hamlet on friday - no clue if it was indeed Robson as he was in the stalls and I was in the circle.

Saw the show last night - had some brilliant seats in the centre of the circle. Having seen the RSC prod and the Almeida one, this was my third Hamlet in little over year! All three have been very different but all enjoyable! I'm not a particularly fan of Hiddleston but I enjoyed his Hamlet enough, I still prefer Andrew Scott's take on the Dane. I thought that Polonius was brilliant in this production, and definitely got some of the biggest laughs last night.

I walked by Andrew Scott whilst I was on my way to the National Theatre Ah, but are you sure it was him, though? I mean, Scotty or not Scotty, that is the question... Indeed it is the question! But yes! He look quite summery today as he headed over the bridge

True he has become a bit typecast on tv but he does those roles so well. Loved him in Pillars of the Earth and i think he was in The White Queen too. No one does historical evil bastard like him haha He was! He played George, Duke of Clarence - not quite evil, more of the tin foil hat troupe!
