We booked into the 18th of December but have just got an email saying we have to move. Nowhere near Preview period, but we still have to shift?? I'm guessing it's to now accommodate the Preview bookers? Anyone else had this? The weird thing is they say Please give 3 dates you can make that aren't the 18th, and the selection are all earlier than our original booking date? Is the 18th now press night?

First Adele and now Megan. I am not having a good year for seeing female performers live!

I was lucky enough to see this last week and absolutely loved it! Bette Midler and Gavin Creel were fantastic and the sets and costumes were beautiful.

I know the Lauren casting isn't the big news, but I LOVE Verity Rushworth. (this is where once again I have to confess my dark secret of watching Emmerdale isn't it?). Also glad she's getting another crack at a bigger stage role as she had to pull out of Breakfast at Tiffanys whne she got pregnant. Also I remember her tweeting Killian waaaay back early in the run saying how much she loved the show, so obviously she decided she really really liked it! Verity's husband is the Associate Director at Kinky Boots.

Their fraud department will be open 24/7. I don't want to speak to any fraud. It's the fraud department you need to speak to as they'll be able to lift the block on the transaction. It happened to me a few weeks ago.

I managed to get a stalls ticket this morning and can't wait as I've been waiting so long for her to come back over here (Glee Tour 2011 was the last time I saw her live). Are any other board members going?

Career choice isn't a characteristic which is protected from discrimination. I think (but any HR professionals correct me) that if they list the singing ability as 'desirable' in their jobs descriptions then they can justify it as all those who meet that criteria are 'better qualified for the job' than those who just meet the rest of the (presumably food service related) requirements.
A bit like when companies are looking to hire internally for a job but have to look like they've recruited external, so pad the job criteria with a load of 'desirables' that only those who have already done the job could do...then they can justifiably say they hired the 'most suitable' person for the job based on their criteria.
I'm an employment solicitor and unless it's discriminatory on a protected characteristic such as race, age, sex etc there's no claim anyway so they don't have to justify anything.

I see the altruistic reason to do this and help our resting actors, but wouldn't just hiring actors be unlawful as it is discrimination against people from other careers? Career choice isn't a characteristic which is protected from discrimination.

I still haven't received my code Send them an email. I hadn't either, and they sent me one through. You may get it in time. Already tried that and got no response. Looks like I'm not getting tickets today

So glad I managed to see Jessie in this in the Summer as I won't be back in NY until after she's left. Her She Used To Be Mine was just breathtaking.

When I saw Glee! Live I just rocked up on the day (it was a matinee) and bought a single ticket and had an aisle seat about six rows from the front. I appreciate the auto tuning, etc. but the I saw it Amber and Nayer sang River Deep, Mountain High and I don't know if this was a technical glitch or deliberate however for a second for two the sound went if and they were singing. From where I was I was close enough to not only be covered in glitter (in Loser Like Me) buy to hear the vocals. I won front row seats in a radio competition and I'm a total Lea Michele fangirl so being so close was fab. I really hope she does another show on Broadway or over here sometime soon.

Sorry to ask guys but do I remember that Amber is not doing matinees or doing one and not the other?? Help please? I am coming up for the 7/12 performance "Unless otherwise notified on this site, Amber Riley will play the role of Effie White for 7 out of 8 performances per week. Currently the alternates Ruth Brown and Karen Mav will perform on Wednesday evenings" Just nabbed a front row grand circle seat for the Saturday matinee this week and really looking forward to seeing this! I also haven't seen Amber since Glee Live which for the record was in 2011 lol

Does anybody know if the stage door is likely to be busy on the last day? It was insane on the last day of LB so I imagine it will be similar. Sheridan was heading off to the cast party so only signed for those of us at the barrier.

If you're the man who was sat in front of me until you moved (I was in A9) there were 4 other people sat in that row before you arrived and they asked to be moved.

They had so much talent on that stage and totally wasted the opportunity to do something amazing.
