I wish I knew this. I've just booked tickets but nowhere did I see a Senior Citizen discount. Not many London theatres do this but my local theatre does and I have never been asked for ID.

I hope you enjoy it. One of the few plays where I left at the interval as it really felt like watching paint dry. Each to their own though.

You must be very proud of your brother. I will look forward to watching him. :-)

I wonder what the very back of the Upper circle is like. Thinking of trying to bock for either late July or mid September till end but haven't got much money for anything other than the cheapest seats. I sat in row A to see Gypsy and didn't have any problems other than they had a bit of stage just in front (which was only used for a few minutes). Not sure if that will still be there for Funny Girl. I've also sat in the Upper circle and it's not too bad. Check it out on Theatremonkeys page. I always do.

Everyone here who has seen the show seems to have loved it, and it was that and the fact that the prices seemed to have fallen since going on sale which persuaded me to book (and note that the £19.50 seats double in price after PN), yet one the author of one online review I read yesterday really disliked it, which was puzzling. She is a regular theatregoer (and blogger) and has written plays herself so it's not as though she doesn't see a lot of productions for comparison. Btw, isn't the location of the New London Theatre rather out on a limb and slightly away from the main West End cluster? I know it's relatively near several others but approached from the north or east, you'd have no idea there was anything of the sort in the area and this impression is reinforced by the fact that, as in the case of the Peacock Theatre, the entrance isn't in Drury Lane but in a side street. It is a little bit out of the way, but not much really. We found it quite easily without the aid of our phone satnav.

I also saw it this afternoon and as I have never watched snooker in my life, did find the playing (and explaining) snooker difficult to follow, although the end bit was quite exciting. It was very funny at times, but not the belly laughs I had been lead to expect. Lots of swearing in it which I naively didn't expect (well not the 'C' word anyway), but I suppose that is real life.

I'm particularly worried about the prices at Bradford. They'll have to do some serious discounting to fill the Alhambra. It's the same for the Wicked tour. I didn't know the Alhambra did any discounts? We're going and paying full whack (which isn't quite as much as the West End, but not far).

Well I went with my husband on Saturday night having watched the Arena tour several years ago. Sorry to say I found it boring. The music is good but the story (such as it is) dragged on...and on.... We got our tickets for half price and there were lots of empty seats so obviously not selling well.

Saw it Saturday afternoon and was so blown away. Callum Francis was amazing, such a talent, made me laugh, made me cry. I didn't even realise he was the understudy.

Superfans are the sort of fans who are less concerned with watching the show than they are with making sure everyone around them knows how much of a fan they are. Know what you mean. I went to a Michael Ball concert many years ago and got some returned tickets from the fan club which were in the front section of the theatre. Before he actually came on, a lady asked me if I was in the fan club because this was THEIR section and Michael liked his fans to stand up and dance more or less all the way through the show. I am a huge MB fan but didn't like being told how I should act by his Ballettes as I believe they are called.

I've booked to see it in March but Killian isn't on for my date. Has anyone seen his understudy?
