Loved it loved it loved it - didn’t realise I would cry at the staircase ... but I did - the whole evening was magical and I feel sorry for those seeing it the first time who will never see this production again ...

Dare I ask - will photos be ‘acceptable’ at curtain call - I would hate to appear on the bad behaviour thread 🤭

it was Connie last night as well The first time I saw it one of the girls was called Connie. Did she have blonde hair? long hair ... I’d say light brown rather than blonde

Kid number 4 was called Connie when I saw it...I wonder if it's always her? (I remembered that because I thought of Connie Fisher). Speaking of...she hasn't been heard of in ages.... LOL it was Connie last night as well

And lovely versions of ‘Bring him Home’ and ‘Sunset Boulevard’ - not by Ed Balls I hasten to add 😀

I was at that same matinee and can only agree with everything danieljohnson14 says - and what perfect audience behaviour - could hear a pin drop and not a mobile phone, sweet wrapper or crisp packet in sight! Very happy with my £38 seat in the 2nd circle - worth every penny. Can’t wait to go again - would love to see it again at Sadlers Wells but it’s basically sold out December is Sold Out, but there is some availibiliry throughout January so keep your eye out! And they always put returns on there too! plus, if you're London based, it's doing Wimbledon on the tour. Thrilled you enjoyed it! I was in the Second Circle too, I wonder if we were near eachother? I was in L8. I was A19 - perfect view

A last minute spontaneous trip to today’s matinee and caught Philip Bertioli’s ‘Billy’ - lovely handstand ... and Ryan Gover’s ‘Andy’- both delightful characterisations - more please 👏👏👏

Bonnie scheduled to be on BBC’s One Show tomorrow evening at 7pm So presumably not performing tomorrow night then?! bonnie tweeted that she’s doing both shows AND the One Show in between - she’s hoping for no traffic 😮 ... I guess curtain up MAY be a little late 😀

Kudos to Caroline Quentin who, at today’s matinee, in her first scene of the 2nd act after ‘the sun has got his hat on’ called out a ringing mobile phone in character ‘... oh please answer it, it could be my agent...’ she received a warm round of applause ...

Does anyone know if this show uses dynamic pricing? I have a spare afternoon this Wednesday which I could use to finally catch this. I turned up an hour before last wednesdays matinee and got a decent dress circle seat for 29.50 direct from box office as did the lady sitting next to me

Managed to get a cheap ticket for £14 this week in Manchester so giving it a try. Still loads of seats available im there tonight there must be a maximum of 50 of us in the gallery which could be easily accommodated in dress circle but no upgrade

Just watched the matinee ...Ruthie is using a walking stick throughout as mentioned above but such poise and what a voice - I’ve no idea how she gets through these early shows (or any to be honest) - I was in bits when she took her curtain call knowing what she’s been through ... what a trooper

Looks like the full plan and ability to select seats is now available About time! Yes, can see it now, and it does look like "The Philanthropist" layout. Those who have CC have a bargain, I think. Having been at today’s matinee - I can confirm row CC was a bargain at £15 - brava

All you ‘Streeters in the first couple of rows for the final show, be nice to a newbie who’s been used to being in grand circle on previous occasions

My friend and I loved it but were disappointed with the staging. With it being based in s presidential palace we expected more glitz. Didn’t detract from the brilliance of the cast though

£200 is insane, imo, but they're selling still so they'll continue to sell at that price - unfortunately. Brute persistence is required, but I've seen returns pop up from £37.50 to £89.50 for April and May, sometimes up to 3 weeks in advance. You just need to keep checking. I saw the show last week from front row of upper circle - fabulous view - that I’d paid £39.50 for - mind you I had booked a year earlier

You need to look a lot further in advance (several months). The last minute tickets are generally the premium priced ones aimed at tourists, particularly the Americans (who still think they're getting a bargain at £200, when the corresponding ones on Broadway go for $750 plus tax). You can occasionally get lucky with a last minute return down to £75 or £90 in the stalls, but if you're not looking to spend that much the seats will be higher up. £200 is insane, imo, but they're selling still so they'll continue to sell at that price - unfortunately. What has theatre become? The days of bouncers in auditoriums can't be far away. Definitely becoming necessary at Friday evening and Saturday shows

Is this tour a replica production? Replica of what? It’s the same show as that which closed in London in March a year ago - almost to the day 😮

Sounds very similar to how singin in the rain was staged a couple of years ago at same venue ... and that was excellent. Looking forward to the struggle up Highgate Hill early in new year to see this production

I was at the first Preview tonight and thought it was excellent - beautifully sung by an impressive cast. For a first preview I thought it was faultless - the production fitted perfectly into the intimate space. I reckon it has ‘transfer’ written all over it.
No idea of Cast as I didn’t get a programme

Can someone who saw this at Bristol confirm if it’s as terrifying as the early promo suggests. Thanks 😀

Ben Lewis also didn't pick Christine up and place her in the boat. She lay down where she fainted and then ran to boat when the lights went dark. Very odd. I think I noticed the last few Phantoms have done the same. This has always been the way it's done on Broadway, though. The urban legend is because their equity classifies The Phantom catching Christine as a "stunt", therefore they would have to be paid extra each time they perform the manoeuvre, a minimum fee as a stuntsperson plus their regular pay. As for why it has suddenly changed in the West End the last few casts, I have no idea. delighted to say that Ben Lewis allowed Kelly Mathieson to faint into his arms and be carried to the boat in todays matinee but Jeremy Taylor not doing jump or swinging Kelly around during ‘All I Ask of You’ - wonderful matinee today despite the idiot in row G or H stage right whose mobile rang loudly just as Phantom is descending to sing ‘I gave you my music’ at end of act 1

With the not very cleverly disguised video that JerseyBoysUK have posted on Facebook, I am so looking forward to the Tour - I just hope that the inflated ticket prices particularly at ATG venues won’t put people off booking. It really will be a great show with the four leads ‘suggested’ 😀

I’ve never felt as disengaged from a theatrical experience as I felt today - I can usually block out sweet rustlers, chatterers and even the odd mobile sound ... but what was the reasoning behind the standing area - there seemed to be no patrolling of people moving from one side of the standing area to another - people left and returned - there was no boundaries around the entrances & exits for the actors who had to negotiate rucksacks let alone people - tho the audience were marginally better behaved in the 2nd act ... I thought Kevin McNally was tremendous but owing to not being focussed on the 1st act for the reasons given I haven’t a clue what it was all about

Post above from Princeton is correct. He injured his Achilles earlier in the year, and was replaced last minute by Sam Edwards for On The Town. Will probably be a while before he does the jump. Ben Lewis also didn't pick Christine up and place her in the boat. She lay down where she fainted and then ran to boat when the lights went dark. Very odd. That's disappointing to read ... Ben Forster was the only Phantom I've seen who didn't have 'Christine' faint into his arms so I assumed he had an injury. For me - that loses an element of the seduction of her by Erik ... particularly as the orchestra is still playing & for him to place her in the boat showed a degree of care ... maybe it's for health & safety reasons 😏
