Danielle was very vocal about seeing the same people at Bat Stage Door day after day after day so it will be very interesting to see how she finds Six!

I would argue that Sheridan is far more well known and more of a "national treasure" than Jane is.

Was a bit irritated to find out that Jason Donovan won't be appearing at the performance I'm going to. Oh yes I heard about that and sorry to hear that, unfortunately the understudy Lee Mead will be on. I'm looking forward to second cover Phillip Schofield's scheduled show too.

T shirts £20-25 Hoodie £45 Magnet £5 Badge set £6 Keyring £8 Mug £10 Tote Bag £10 Multicoloured Socks (!) £12 Programmes £5 The "go go go Joseph" logo t shirt and bag with rainbow colours are gorgeous! Standard Logo t shirts available too and two women's tees. Bundle of bag, mug, magnet, keyring and socks for £40 Socks? So random. Cant say I've ever seen socks on sale for a show. Wicked do them with Elphaba on one and Glinda on the other.

Sorry to be pedantic, but are the badges the sexy little enamel pin badge type or the nondescript round button badge? Thanks 🙏🏻 for that price I expect they'll be button badges I'm afraid.

Was a bit irritated to find out that Jason Donovan won't be appearing at the performance I'm going to. Funnily enough I booked that date deliberately (as my 3rd trip lol) so could see the u/s Pharaoh.... Will have seen JD twice by then though. Understand your frustration if it's your only trip! I booked a few weeks ago and was looking at that matinee as I am in London then, but when I clicked on the seating chart it said in small letters at the top of the chart that he was not appearing at that performance.

What time does the evening performance typically end?

Axs did some of the vip tickets for the recent Take That tour. There were lots of complaints. People paid two hundred pounds but found that they were very far left or very far right to the point they couldn't actually see much at all. Others paid a lot of money for block a row a seats believing they were going to be at the front but then turned up and found another block had been added in front that was not on the seating plan and those in front paid less.
Essentially, there was no consistency in the responses to fan complaints. Some were offered complimentary tickets to stadium shows later in the tours. Others had no response at all.

I'm not a fan of Waitress but all this constant (and repetitive) negativity about it really is becoming quite tiresome.
If you don't like the show and those in it... fine! You don't actually have to watch it, there are plenty of other shows available to watch and even talk about.
Constructive criticism from those that have seen the show is one thing, but this is something altogether different and it seems to be creeping more and more into threads.
Possibly why so many long standing posters seem to be leaving the forum!

One minute people are saying it's too expensive.
They do a ticket lottery and people are still complaining.
They can't win!

Lucie has certainly had a very busy week, all of the shows and performances on both days of West End Live.
She must be knackered!

It’s the Ashley Roberts show! Isn't it just that way so the names match up to the order they are sat in the photo?

I'd forgotten what a voice Richard has! Wow! He was pretty outstanding yesterday. Loved his duet with Louise Dearman too.

I really enjoyed the west end live performance and will probably book now. That's the joy of West End Live... discovering new gems!

Yes the stewards could have been organised but it's still an incredible event and it's all free. I absolutely loved it. I got there about half eight and there were big queues but it's a free amazing festival, of course there will be queues.
As for charging for a programme... The whole event is free and people are complaining about paying for a big glossy programme?! I can't think of any other places where you get free programmes.

Bonnie said at West End live that she is leaving, Brian and Natalie are staying on in London and the rest are going on tour. I didn't already know that so apologies if it's common knowledge.

Aimee Fisher is on tonight as Elphaba.
Sounds like Laura Pick has a show off ahead of a two show day and West End Live tomorrow.
Alice is still away on holiday.

I love this, what a gent!
I can't imagine asking someone months before a show whether they are doing "stage door".

I'd like to see the Guys and Dolls Paris production come over to London.
Also, is it too early to ask for the return of 42nd Street?!

From all the packages that come up when you are trying to book, I assume someone involved in this production has shares in Moet? "Unlimited champagne" packages too... The bad behaviour thread will be swamped!

I feel very sorry for her, she was probably so excited about the role but has been bombarded with messages saying it's a disgrace she got it because of how Laura was treated and Laura is a million times better. No wonder she is nervous!
We are all entitled to our opinions but you do not @ the person. That's bad form. A minority of theatre fans really need to get over themselves. All this was beyond her control. Blame the show not her.
The show have really set Ashley up for a fall here. She can't win!

Artists and shows like Hamilton have shown you can eliminate touts entirely by checking ID and booking card on entry. These days with the new technology it can be done as quickly as the usual ticket check yet many artists have chosen not to go down this route and I question their reasons why.
