Not ignorance at all. And your link didn’t work. The link does work, and you are being ignorant.

I’m sorry but this is just stupid. People would rather pay to see someone not as good in the role because they are ticking a box? That’s a dangerous precedent to set, and one that does no one any favours. Maybe this will help you understand and move beyond ignorance t.co/pK6D9KaKSv?amp=1

I was in the stalls for the palladium production, and similar seats for the Broadway revival and I can’t for the life of me remember Zach being sat in the audience? Maybe I just missed him, but I thought it was an unembodied voice until he walks on stage ‘from the stalls’, but cheated to seem as if he’d been sat there all along, when actually he’d been back stage?

|What do we think this tweet could be referring to? Sounds like a show that could class as a 'dream revival' to me?

I love Oliver! but I'm not particularly interested in another revival - especially one from Cameron. I'd be interested in a brand new production, but I expect we'll just get a scaled down remount of a previous show.

A brand new production of Wicked is opening next year in Hamburg, i'm sure we've discussed this elsewhere, but search couldn't find it so I'm posting instead! Any idea who'll be directing/designing this new production? Do Stange Ents usually use the same people or...? www.stage-entertainment.de/musicals-shows/wicked-hamburg

Thanks for the heads up on the £19.450 tickets! I got 2 in row V next to the sound desk, which is usually not too bad a view!

Oh wow - I must have been so lucky! I got through immediately, and got a refund really easily too! They offered me £30 vouchers for the bar if i kept the credit note, but thats a drink and a half at an ATG Bar so not worth it.

I didn't realise there was a thread here, but nearly 3k people have watched my show Since U Been Gone since I put it online last week. Its an old version of the show, so it's not perfect & it differed to the published text, but if you wanna watch some Trans Theatre check it out! Trigger Warnings are in the video description (as is my PayPal info if anyone wanted to donate money towards an artist who's had 2 musicals and a play pulled this week alone!) Follow the pop up on teddylamb.com to find the full show

Already got stalls for their run in the GILT sale but thought I’d probably like to see Sara twice so picked up a £15 Row O dress for the last week of their run. What week is that? I booked for March 3rd simply cause thats when i'm next free and i *think* they're both still on then? DID I d my maths correctly...? lol

Likewise with the above post, I don’t think Comet would fit Boulevard. Ghost Quartet is small and it works. Comet is big cast, big orchestra, and big show. I think Comets ideal home would be the Oliver. That would be absolutely perfect with the way it was set out on Broadway. They could easily put a staircase up to the circle along those side seating areas and the back of the circle is freed up for the amazing choral moments. That stage is massive with ample room for on stage seating and there isn't much overhang, so the stalls missing a lot of the action upstairs would be aleaviated. Unfortunately I think it'd be too expensive for them too. Malloy said at the Preludes Q&A that anyone who wanted to put it on would be looking at 5 million dollars. Tbh 5 million dollars isn’t much for a big musical... my guess is that it will Happen eventually but either in 10/15 years at somewhere like the NT, or a Scaled down version on the fringe somewhere?

May is intended to be non binary, but the show had no consultation with anyone in the trans* community and is played by a cis man - which is why it's both unclear and often an offensive portrayal of a Non Binary person. It ruined the show for me.

I got through the queue in 12 minutes and easily bought the cheap seats behind the pillar on the back row of the stalls.
Pretty happy with that tbh.

I’m quite surprised that she is following this path as she’s had a fair bit of success with songwriting for others, and her solo album showed real pop perfection promise. Genuinely not meaning to be rude, but her album bombed. What success has she had writing for others? I can't imagine she's making any sort of a living from working in music unless she's got a successful publishing deal that I wasn't aware of. Her album may have bombed, but its flippin' sensational. And those of us who saw her one off gig last year know her voice is sounding much stronger than ever... whether she can act is another thing though! She's also written with/for Cheryl, Little Mix, Tinashe and Lethal Bizzle (amongst others) Don't get me wrong - i'm not defending this bizarre stunt cast, but credit where it's due - girl can write a mean pop song!

Super confused by this. It seems it’s also doing three preview performances on 13/14 December before the full run in March next year. I believe the rights holders had to open a production this year or else the rights would revert back to the creators...or something? There was a discussion on here a while back?

I heard a rumour that the Almeida had the rights at some point... The Almeida rights expired this year, last I heard, they were the reason the Hope Mill production couldn’t transfer... whether they expended the rights or someone else snapped them up for 2020 I don’t know.

I've booked for the Lowry, and I'm taking a friend who didn't see it last time. It makes me nervous showing things I loved to someone else in case they hate it. I really really REALLY hope Vinnie Heaven and Fran Mills are back for it at least, although I hope they have the same full cast. I know for a fact that Vinnie isn’t returning, but they were all offered it - so some may be back
