Anyone know if the CD will be released before the run ends? Someone asked Debbie Chazen on Twitter if there was a release date for it. She replied "Not sure yet. Soon as possible we hope".

I can't decide whether to go and see this next week. There are never any bloody discounts in Nottingham and don't know if I want to see it enough to pay full price! Do fellow theatre-boarders recommend going to it? I saw it in Glasgow last week and loved it. Thought Natasha was fantastic, but wasn't as impressed with Darius, his diction was really poor so I struggled to understand him.

I agree, I absolutely love Claire's voice. Thanks for sharing.

Well that's really annoying since I bought side aisle seats for two shows in June for pretty much the same price. Oh well.

Oh that's a shame, my friend was going to that gig and she hadn't seen her perform live before.

If Madonna is taller than Patti how tall is Patti? She must be TEENY! It's always the small ones isn't it... I met her after a show once and I was surprised by how small she was. I was going to guess around 5ft 1 or 2, but I decided to Google it and she's 5ft 1 and a half. So I was pretty spot on.

Is anyone else actually going to this? I'm booked for Colston Hall (booked on first day of presale😂) but I sometimes feel like I'm the only "Fanzel" on this forum. I'm going to the Glasgow gig, but I am in London that weekend and my train arrives back in Glasgow about an hour before the gig. Oops not the best timing in the world, hope there are no delays on the West Coast line.

I can imagine Debbie Chazen staying on, and there are some names/mt names they could cast. I do have a list (although not all are northern ladies) Bonnie Langford - Annie Rebecca Thornhill - Chris Jodie Prenger - Cora Tracey Ann Oberman - Celia Lin Blakley - Jessie I agree, Debbie Chazen is the only one I think who would stay on for the tour. Oh I love Rebecca Thornhill, she would make a great Chris.

Hmm I may be tempted into seeing this again on May 23rd, before Annie in the evening. I'll have to look into it, hopefully I can get a closer seat than the Upper though to properly enjoy The "assets". LOL joke, I'm gay. They have those £29.50 seats at the side of the stalls available. I say go for it.

Ha! I was thinking that of her as Celia too. Wonder if she'd do a UK tour though.

Stick a couple of Nolans in it, plus anyone who ever appeared in Vagina Monologues. And Su Pollard. It will go like a rocket 🚀 . I LOLed way too hard at 'stick a couple of Nolans in it'

I think we're safely assuming this will tour, post West End. I wonder if they will stick with a MT cast or bring in some 'celebs'. It would be great if at least some of the current cast toured with it.

Don't think a date has been released yet for the cast recording...or did I miss it?

I'm currently falling in love with Merrily We Roll Along all over again. That, and Dear Evan Hansen.

I think a UK tour is definitely the way to go with this show.

Got a cheap as chips £15 ticket for this for my trip in June. Haven't seen it before and was really just looking for something fun to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Hope Half A Sixpence's early closure isn't a sign of things to come for The Girls.

I was there again on Saturday afternoon and the website was showing a fair number of seats still available the day before. When we were there though the stalls were full and it sounded very busy in the dress and grand, too. I presume this has a lot of walk-up trade, as there were plenty buying tickets from the BO when I collected mine. Edit: Also worth noting is that the cast began work in the studio making the recording this week. I long for Kilimanjaro blasting through my earphones. Talking to cast members, it seems that the matinees are the ones that are always pretty full. It's the week nights that are the worry. Def agree with what's been said on here before that they should drop a week night and replace it with a Sunday matinee. And I too can't wait for a recording of Kilimanjaro (and Claire Moore's song at the end of Act 1).

According to twitter, the show is going to open in 5 countries in the next year I saw that too, how puzzling.....unless, as it's been said, they are just opening 'locally'

Brilliant, really glad to hear that. I has a cheap seat in the Grand Circle last time I saw it, and was upgraded to the Dress, but that's not going to happen on a Sat night so figured the cheap stalls seats were the way to go. I saw 'quite enough' in the Dress to know that I don't need to see any more from the the Stalls. LOL!

Thanks for the advice. I will take a punt on J1, because for some reason it doesn't say it's restricted view (just noticed that).

Fantastic, thanks Mark. I'm going on a Sat and there seems to be less availability than weeknights so not sure if there will be discounts available nearer the time. I thought buying the £35 ones just now was a safer option. Is either side good for this show, or is the blocking heavier on one particular side?

Has anyone sat on the seats in the outer aisles of the stalls at this theatre? I see they are selling them for £35, but just wondered how restricted that are.
