Oh no that’s rubbish! Really sorry! Wonder what’s wrong this time cause it said they had definitely planned to go ahead with all remaining shows. I assume another queen is sick. They’re not having much luck.

I saw the show again this afternoon and was glad I got to see Grace and Renee. I did find it a shame though that as Renee wasn't familiar with the new staging/choreography it meant that she stood at the side for a lot of the show and was hardly even lit. Half the time I could barely see her.

Oh no! I have tickets for the 4pm show tomorrow, hope it goes ahead. I saw it on Sunday and loved it so much that I had to go back before the end of the run.

I saw Patti play Joanne in the Lincoln Centre's version of Company (I was sitting right behind Stephen Sondheim) and she was friggin' amazing. She stole the whole show, not only with her spectacular 'Ladies Who Lunch', but also with her facial expressions during all the dance numbers.

After much research it appears that this is the most uncomfortable theatre in London, or close to it. I've opted for a seat in the lower gallery in the back row cause there is at least a wall to kinda lean on when my back starts breaking. Ugh!

There were a couple of choices of restaurants but we went for Planet Hollywood, so it was just your usual all American burger type thing. Very nice since it was free.

I took my 70 year old mum to see this last week and we both adored it, it definitely has something for everyone. We got a great deal on SeeTickets for rear stalls and a 2 course dinner for £35, since the seats themselves were £35 we effectively got the dinner for free. The seats were all empty around us so we had loads of room to stretch out and a completely unobstructed view.

Many thanks for all your advice guys, am only in London Saturday to Tuesday so Sat night in unfortunately my only chance if I want to see Amber. I will mull it over some more and see if there is anything else I still want to see with the money I'd save by going on the Monday. I think the only musicals I haven't seen are American in Paris and Follies (but that's sold out).

New to this thread so apologies if this question has been asked in the past 194 pages, LOL! I am heading down to London next month and this is on my list of things to see, now do I pay £50 for the chance to see Amber (on a Sat night) or £20 to see her understudy on the Monday night? I'm on a budget so the the £20 tickets would allow me to see other shows, but i'm not sure whether I'd kick myself by passing up the chance to see Amber. Any thoughts?

Not recent sightings, but I sat behind Julie Walters at Wicked once (she seemed to love it) and next to Bon Jovi at Book of Mormon.

I know A11 is behind a pillar, but also wanted to check if it's on an aisle. I need an aisle seat for my dodgy back and I suspect it's going to ache a hell of a lot more after sitting in this theatre.

Yup, it's a 7pm start. I just bought tickets for it since I can't see the show in London.

Nope, even the cast don't know. I'm wondering if they will wait and release it for the tour and sell it at the venues.

So to confirm Joanna has now finished? Will the rest of the girls be on for the final show? Have seen a Jenny and Shirley show and Claire and Joanna twice. Will the final show be Jenny and Claire? Sad that Joanna is not doing the final show. No, she's doing the two shows on Tuesday, but Claire is off that day so last night was their last show together. 😕 So, yeah, I assume Wednesday to the final show will be Claire and Jenny.

You picked a great night to go as this is the last night that the two leads are on together. 😊

When I saw this I literally walked up to the box office 15 mins before curtain and got an Upper Circle box seat for £19.50. It was an amazing view and I had the whole box to myself.....and that was a Saturday night.

Wow, this tour that's happening next year is growing and growing. On top of the UK and America I see they are tweeting that they are in talks to take it to Germany and The Netherlands.

I finally got round to seeing this this afternoon. I am so bad at not getting round to seeing shows till they are closing. I found the show both better & more emotional than I had expected it to be & cried 3 times. I've neither seen the film nor the play so had very little idea of the plot beyond "WI members do nude calendar for charity". I was lucky enough to see the full cast on - while I like seeing understudies if I'm repeat-viewing a show, it's nice to see all the leads if you're only seeing it once. I particularly wanted to see Joanna Riding & Sophie-Louise Dann, both of who I've seen in multiple other shows, so was relieved they were both on. I thought all the leading ladies were very good. Also very brave: there were more nipples on display than I was expecting! Anyone wanting to see the show with full cast before it closes, a heads-up that when I spoke to Joanna Riding afterwards she mentioned that she's on holiday Wednesday-Saturday of the last week so there's only just over a week left to see her. So Jo is finishing up with the show on Tuesday 11th? That's a shame she's not there for closing night.

Wow, Shirley Jamieson really is earning her buck in this production, I see she was on as Chris last night and Jessie today.

I sat in the box overlooking the stage seats and all I can say is that some seats are definitely better than others. TBH I think the first table on either side of the stage seemed to be the only ones to get a good view, but others who have sat on the stage seats may have a different opinion.

Saw this last night and thought it was good, but definitely not great. Some of the cast members were stronger than others and i felt myself glazing over when the weaker actors were on. I did like the staging though, even though the cloud/crumpled sheet distracted me and the hotel room looked like the inside of Abercrombie & Fitch with all those dark shutters.
There was a talk back with the cast afterwards, which was really interesting and added some insight into the characters and the actors choices.

Does anyone know when Joanna and Claire will be back? Joanna is pretty sick but I think she's trying to get back for Tuesday, but in saying that she came back too early by coming in for the Saturday matinee and that set her recovery back. Hope you get to see her, fingers crossed.

Saw this Friday night and was gutted that both leads were off. Jenny Gayner took over from Joanna Riding and was not good. Her vocals were poor and she is far too young for the part one of which of the lines is about being friends for 40 years. Was really disappointed about it as had been looking forward to it. I have to say was disappointed in it generally too with low production values. Saw Bat out of Hell and 42nd st too which did not disappoint. Sorry for the double post, I don't know how to double quote on my phone. Joanna has been pretty sick, she came back for the Sat matinee then couldn't make it on for the evening, not sure about Claire but I think she was on holiday. I agree about the age thing though, especially when Jenny is on with Shirley, the age difference is even more noticeable and distracting.

I saw this from a box seat on Saturday night and still have goosebumps from it. Audra is quite simply breathtaking in this role.

I sat it on Saturday afternoon with the £35 offer (row D in the stalls) and I loved it. It may have helped that I came "fresh" to it - I only watched the movie as a primer a few weeks ago because I didn't know it at all. But I enjoyed the story a lot and the atmosphere in the theatre (about 90% females I'd say) was great. Also really liked the score. And I admit, after seeing the utterly perfect gorgeous young ladies in On the Town on the previous night, it WAS nice for a regular woman like me to see other regular women of all shapes and sizes on stage. I hope this will do well on tour. I was there on Sat afternoon too. Shame Claire Moore wasn't on but nice to see what her understudy brings to the role.

Can I ask what time Idina came on at? I think I'm going to be running late for the concert on Tuesday night and I want to make sure I don't miss any of her set.
