I've only seen Alexia once, Jennifer once and Rachel twice as Elphaba. Rachel was definitely my favourite, Jennifer was very good and Alexia was fine.
Glinda; I've seen Suzie who was definitely my favourite, Savannah who I thought was ok and Dianne who I couldn't have disliked any more if I tried.
My idea of hell is a place where Dianne's character voice for Glinda plays constantly in the background.

He is going to cringe so much in a few years when he thinks back to his behaviour now.

I am out for dinner before the show on the 28th but keep your badges on as I'll be on the lookout at the theatre! Just seen this video starring one of our fellow well-discussed,board members: It made me think. What are your personal Wicked preferences? I personally think Rachel is the bees knees. In my opinion I feel she gives the role 110%, she is consistent, has a powerful vocal and is believable as Elphaba. I would say she is closely followed by Willemijn, and I also enjoyed seeing Cassidy Janson way back in 2007. I don't feel it fair to make assumptions on who I like/don't like if I've not seen them live. Do you agree? Play nicely!! What have I just watched? Is he on this forum?

I think I have been in that Wetherspoons before, briefly so that's fine with me. I have counted six of us, so far. For some reason I thought it was more.

Has anyone sat in row F of the upper circle? Looking for a cheap ticket for this but I'm not sure how annoying the rail in front will be.

That's what I'm hoping too. I've never really been at a show where the audience scream so loud I can't hear the songs but I hope it's a good atmosphere.

I have never sat in the circle for Wicked before. I've always had front side stalls tickets so I am excited to see the show from a distance this time. That and I couldn't get any side stalls tickets. lol

I'll be in London from around 12 that day. The trains from Stansted aren't running that day so I have to bus it. I don't have a matinee booked just yet but I'm still considering one.

A lot of forum members may be seeing Rachel Tucker's final performance in Wicked on the 28th of January so that might be a good date for people to meet up?

Try easyHotel Victoria. I've stayed there lots of times! 5-minute walk to the theatre! ETA: Oh you booked already, nevermind! Haha, thanks. I checked easyHotel Victoria but it was £149 for that one night. I got the one in Earls Court for £39.

I normally stay in the Travelodge in Covent Garden but it is way out of my price range for that night. Easyhotel in Earls Court is very cheap at the minute, just not sure of the area. Anyone ever stayed there?

Anyone staying in London on Saturday 28th? I need suggestions for cheap-ish places to stay for one person.

I've decided I'm going to Rachel's final performance. I've always wanted to be at one of her final performances and this could actually be the final final performance. Anyone from the forum meeting up that day?

Does any have any tickets for sale or have any idea where I could find two reasonably priced tickets (seated together) for Rachel's last? By reasonably priced I mean both less than £40.

Alicia Vikander, Leighton Meester or even Phillipa Soo would have been much better choices. Anna Kendrick. Just sayin'... Anna would definitely be the better singer but I think Emma suits the role better.

In my opinion she does not have a Disney Princess voice. Still looking forward to seeing this though.

I wish someone would say something negative about this show to talk me out of booking another trip to London. I need to see this asap. You seem to have overread my post Haha, I just read your post but even that hasn't put me off wanting to see this.

That sounds kind of disappointing. There are a lot of cheaper tours that I'm more interested in so I'll avoid this.

This is coming to a theatre near me next year and I was considering going to see it. I've just seen a few videos on youtube and I am very confused. Do the main characters not sing any of the songs? Seems like a poor attempt at a musical.

Thanks for the reply. I'm planning my next trip to London and would have gone back to see this if Eva and Rachelle were still in it.

Sorry if this has been discussed recently but I'm going to ask anyway. When do Eva and Rachelle (if they haven't already) leave the show?

I've just googled it and it turns out she has already played Mrs Meers. Maybe I already knew that subconsciously.

I think Lesley Joseph would be a decent Mrs Meers. Hoping this production comes to Northern Ireland.

I think Mr. Pinky was played by Sean Hayes from Will and Grace. I could be wrong though.

Impressed with the cast and production so far but I just don't think Harvey, Ariana and Kristen are coming across well. I love Harvey in hairspray but this isn't his best. Kristen's version of Miss Baltimore crabs was terrible.
