I thought more than two households can't sit at one table - As the aides are there that is four households breaking the 1m plus rule. From The Metro: How many people can you go to the pub with? In England – where pubs are now open – you can meet one other household indoors. There is no restriction on the number of people you can meet, as long as your group is made up of no more than two households. However, if you are eating or drinking outside, you can meet up in groups of up to six people from different households. In both cases, social distancing should be observed, with people in England told to stay ‘one-metre plus’ apart, while ensuring they take other measures such as wearing a mask or washing their hands. Under the new pub rules, no more than 30 people can congregate indoors, even if a venue has capacity for it. So outdoors can be more than one household.

I’ve had to contact them for every show I wanted a refund for. They did send out an email with a time frame on:
Customers booked for performances between 3 August - 6 September will be contacted in the week commencing 13 July. Customers booked for performances between 7 September - 20 September will be contacted in the week commencing 20 July.
One of my shows was taken off sale and didn’t fall into these dates and I hadn’t been contacted by them so I got in touch.

I’ve noticed more people wearing masks this week especially at the supermarket. Last week there were probably 3 of us wearing one, yesterday it was double figures.

Used to get a programme and brochure for everything I saw. Have just had a clear out and am just retaining ones with significant meaning. Not sure what to do with the others now though!! There’s 100s. If you’ve got a Faith Brown Sunset Boulevard 2001 tour one I’ll help you out ;-) Or indeed any original London Cats or Starlight! Seriously though, if you can be bothered with the effort, e-bay is probs your best bet! There’s a chance re Sunset Boulevard!

ATG have extended closures until the 20th September. That’s my booking of Addams Family cancelled at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham. I’d also been keeping an eye on Come From Away in London as have tickets for the 26th September. They’ve taken that off sale until mid October so I’m assuming I’ll be receiving an email about that as well.

My neighbour just got back from the hairdressers where she was the only customer with a mask on - the other three were done without masks. I bet my local barbershop staff won't even put on ppe for the staff. I walked by my local hairdressers (not one I use) and neither the staff or customers were wearing masks.

With ATG I’ve had 2 fairly quick replies (couple of days) and refunds using Facebook messenger, not for Sunday In The Park With George, but worth a go If you don’t want to hang on the phone.

All my refunds were on my credit card, so I'm now paying for stuff I wouldn't normally put on the card, just to get rid of the credit balance. I think there will be plenty more to come when shows scheduled for the summer are cancelled or postponed. "Free" groceries for the foreseeable future! How boring is that?! Just checking that you know that if you have a credit balance on a credit card you can request it to be transferred to your bank? Might be preferable for some.

I sent Nimax a message as I hadn't heard about my 2nd May booking for City of Angels and others going after me had. They replied saying that everyone should have received an email with their options for refund/swaps so if you haven't it is probably worth getting in touch with them.

I’ve just caught up with it this weekend. I’m loving it cheese and all! It is funny, touching and has some fantastic routines.

I'm not quite sure of the legality of this, but I can see a lot of lawsuits in Ticketmaster's future! They have changed their policy to state that refunds will no longer be given on postponed events. Correct me if I'm wrong but they can't do this can they? You buy your tickets based on the policy at the time of purchase not anything published hence surely? lambgoat.com/news/32963/Ticketmaster-changes-refund-policy-amid-COVID-19-outbreakThis is for the .com site isn’t it? Assume there are different laws in the US for this.

We got an email saying that they are in contact with producers about new dates. I think it’s probably just a stalling tactic. We’ve already filled out the form requesting a refund.

I’ve a spare ticket for this Saturday’s matinee (unable to make it due to being poorly). It’s a TodayTix bargain £22 - just posting details on the ticket thread if anyone is interested.

I usually find Todaytix special offers entirely resistible once I've checked and found once again that the system offers me a terrible seat in the back of beyond. As indeed it did initially for this, but by persevering I was able to book an aisle seat in the front stalls for an evening midweek, so I succumbed. Should I not like it despite all the praise here, at least I'll be ideally placed to make a swift exit! Plus it follows a matinee of Death Of A Salesman, which sounds horribly heavy (and actually more something I "ought" to see than wish to), so should provide a good balance. Same. I'm toying with booking Stalls M34 as that's the best option I think for a Saturday with the offer. Hmm what to do?! I certainly can't afford full price which is what I inevitably end up paying for weekends.

The show restarted and they did a few scenes and all looked okay, the cast were in trainers, I'm not sure if they would have given much more grip for the guys but for the ladies in heels it was a no brainer. Sean Needham did his number propelling himself about in his executive chair okay before they called a halt again and said there would be an interval and they would do a concert version. I'm not sure where you were sat, I was on the front row of the stalls and they were still slipping quite a bit after the change to the trainers so they really didn't have a choice but to stop.

They should have been a lot clearer about the refunds before they decided to try and continue with a concert style performance. I guess they were too preoccupied trying to figure out what they were going to do. The behaviour of about half a dozen (from what I could see) people in the audience was appalling (some of it was definitely alcohol fuelled) no matter what the situation with refunds was and stopped the majority of the audience from having some kind of performance and not a completely wasted evening. Luckily I have seen the show before but I'd guess most people hadn't.

Saw this yesterday afternoon and loved it. Trying to work out who I saw (stupidly didn’t note it down) as Anne Boleyn. If anyone was there and knows please do enlighten me! Can’t work it out from the website cast list!

My only experience of The Color Purple ks the concert version that was on in London about a year ago. I had wanted to see it on Broadway but it closed before I got there. So I am considering going to the Birmingham show and taking my mother as she really wanted to see it too. Can anyone recommend good seats at the Hippodrome? What's the rake like? Their website has a handy view from seat guide. If I remember correctly the rake doesn't really kick in until row E or F in the stalls. I like the stalls at the Hippodrome and regularly sit anywhere in the central seats from front row until about row G with no grumbles.

I’m planning on going to a Saturday matinee in September. I prefer to be in the stalls and close ish to the stage. I can’t find any discount offers for Saturdays at the moment, have they had any? Am I likely to beat the £50 front row seats that are on sale?

I thought the set was probably good if you were sat in the middle 5 seats of a row but had terrible sight lines from everywhere else in the auditorium.

Hmmm.... Amber tweeted yesterday evening that jet lag has got the best of her.... now call me skeptical but surely jet lag doesn't take almost a week to set in? Perhaps Amber wasn't ill at all but still away? Seems suspicious if you ask me! If she was on holiday until Thursday I'd say jet lag (from the US presumably) is a distinct possibility.

Probably in their contract that they only had to stay for the first act.

Just booked my tickets (or at least I think I have- I have a transaction reference) but no booking confirmation e-mail yet. Is anyone else having this trouble? Yes! Tried to get meet and greet tickets but the page failed after putting in payment details. They then sold out so managed to get standard stalls tickets - well we have a transaction reference same as you do! I guess I could have ended up with both! Tried to call the box office to confirm but they are permanently engaged. The website certainly couldn't cope with the sales this morning.
