You're outside the width of the stage so might miss the edge of the stage - don't think there'd be a huge issue but these seats are the same price as those further in, so if available you'd be better going for those. I've certainly sat in aisle seats and had no problem. Perfect thanks. Will wait and see if any further in become available, if not I'll just chance that Escaped Alone takes place mainly in the centre of the stage... Thanks

Outset bet here... Does anyone know how decent G3 & 4 are in the stalls? Marked as red on theatremonkey but can't see why? Cheers

So you've just proven that indeed OCD would be eligible for DLA. Thanks.

And the biggest flaw OCD would not be eligible for DLA Why don't you do some very basic research before declaring a complete falsity as the 'biggest flaw'? Just embarrassing. Hoping to bag some £10 Monday tickets for this...

Presumably, like the many people who are in that situation in real life, they had a house and a solid income when she became pregnant 8 months or so earlier. We don't need to discuss the problems with modern society on this forum However in my own personal opinion people don't plan ahead and save Before starting a family people should have contingency and a stable state And look ahead a bit more Things happen and if they lost their house and ended up like this in less than a year where were their savings and assets? Perhaps this play might make people more cautious and thoughtful though And that is a good thing Most people are only thinking of day to day selfishly and can't see past their own nose I would love to have loads of children and do lots of things which I realise aren't realistic for me The play only showed the temporary housing as shameful and negative They all behaved like prisoners as if they were there against their will At least they had this option in the first place Personally I find it a little disappointing that people still hold these opinions. I know for a fact that I, along with a significant number of my friends, would never have been born if everyone believed they should have 'contingency and a stable state' before having children, and I wouldn't exactly describe my parents, nor those of my friends as 'thinking of day to day selfishly' or not seeing 'past their own nose' in their decision to start a family. But wonderful to see that this is sparking insightful and thought provoking conversations on both sides, I think if this year has taught us anything it's that conversations MUST take place between people who disagree with each other.

I thought this was brilliant. Very well written, clever and funny. {Spoiler - click to view} I liked the comparison between his wife and the man who had come into hospital to have his eyes removed, although the only thing that did puzzle me: the final shot where he is crumpled on the floor and staring into the light - was this supposed to be a reference to the man blinding himself with his welding equipment? If so, that seems at odds with the point of that story - surely that is referring to her rather than him?

Could someone please help me out here -
As far as I can tell with the 'Become A Friend' scheme, you are able to access cheaper tickets for the downstairs productions, and not the upstairs productions, is that correct?
If so, is it only Mondays you are able to buy discounted tickets for the downstairs productions?
Thanks!
*Edit* - This line on the join as a friend page pretty much confirms that it is only downstairs, and that you get pre-access to the £10 Mondays...
Exclusive Priority Booking – including access to our £12 Monday tickets in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs (strictly subject to availability. Ticket limits may apply)

Got my timings all muddled. Remembered we came out at around 15/20 past 9 and had it down as starting at 8 for some reason :/ apologies. To be fair, it flew by. Didn't seem like 1hr 40! Can we trust your other comments? I wouldn't, but if you want to run any by me, go ahead.

No, didn't see the original. Going next week. Incidentally, the box office are giving a running time of 1 hour 40 minutes. First the seats, now the time. Mad, isn't it! Got my timings all muddled. Remembered we came out at around 15/20 past 9 and had it down as starting at 8 for some reason :/ apologies. To be fair, it flew by. Didn't seem like 1hr 40!

At least they are there . 1 hour 15? That works for me, can get on with some shopping, if not, well... not in the Hammersmith area, I'd think... anyway... after. Thanks wiggymess. You're welcome. When are you seeing it, and did you see the original production?

Also, the stalls are tiered seating - padded benches with backs So much for telling the box office that! Appreciate the update. Running time? The backs aren't that comfortable really, but they are there. Running time was about 75 minutes, but that was only the 2nd night. Official running time still not on the site.

Saw this on Saturday. Wow...er...Still no idea what to make of it. If anyone who saw it in the original run sees this production, I'm fascinated to hear about the differences. Also, the stalls are tiered seating - padded benches with backs

5th November for me. Saw it advertised waiting to go into Stalking The Bogeyman and was suitably intrigued.

Yes, the actual box office. The stage is being extended out over the stalls, with benches placed both on the original stage and in the extended part over the usual seats. Very helpful, many thanks

Just double checked, as the warning they had on their site has vanished. They confirm they are backless, padded benches. That's the theatre directly presumably? Is that all stalls or just those onstage? Your help appreciated as always!

Booked. Played safe and went for the back row dress circle. Don't fancy a bench in the stalls. Is the likelihood of the stalls being benches high? Or just a guess?

The BF said he only wants me to take him to things that are controversial and shocking. I saw the original production of this like when I was 14 so suggested this. He said it sounded cheesey. I told him what happens at the end. He desperate to go! Still plenty of £15 preview tickets left, although the seating plan when booking does look a bit of a mess. A reconfiguration of the theatre...

It's only four seats in row C of the stalls, at the very edges, that are available for a cheap price. You just need to get in there before anyone else does. Fair enough, thanks. Looks like most have gone... *edit* got 2 for £15 each early April, that'll do nicely.
