TRH has housed musicals before, I'm pretty confident I didn't dream Sweet Charity or Marguerite. Presumably they were both on a different scale to Hello Dolly but they were still musicals.

Dolly is massive in scale! Sweet Charity transferred from the Menier so much smaller.

Isn’t the Take That musical doing a couple of weeks there over XMAS? So I assume it can support musicals as well as plays.

He invested in Groundhog Day.... Oh my days.... very interesting. It would take some shoehorning though. Isn’t the Take That musical doing a couple of weeks there over XMAS? So I assume it can support musicals as well as plays. Yes. Broken wings also going in over the summer, although I feel that maybe more semi-staged as its such a new piece.

Sweet Charity at TRH: Delete. Forgot we cant post unofficial photos of stage/set. Google will reveal pictures of Sweet Charity at TRH if you search adequately.

I'll be curious to see if Access Entertainment makes more theatres acquisitions after the Haymarket. I could see them going for the Shaftesbury since it's the only musical house that's not owned by the big four or possibly The Criterion if they were willing to sell. They could even go and buy the likes of Nimax but I have my doubts if Nica Burns would sell her company

ATG may be up for sale in entirety in the not too distant future. I could see that happening and I imagine given they paid £90m for the Live Nation theatres a decade ago, ATG has expanded that its likely worth a lot more and Sir Len has deep pockets
