Wasn't expecting that !
Do we think it will need a major publicity boost to sell out a Monday night in just 10 days ? I must admit I assumed Taboo featured Boy George/Culture Club hits but now see I'm mistaken.

I wonder if adamk might be able to tell us if it’s the same cast both nights? I recognise that he’ll want to keep some surprises up his sleeve…

Hello. All same cast except one from the original first ever cast and one from a later version. So far. Of course that might change and in fact there could be someone from original cast who can make Monday but wasn’t possible for the Sunday…honestly-if you are in anyway keen on the show-these two nights will be very very memorable.

It would be amazing if the show were made available for productions by amateur companies.
I have been a long time admirer of the piece and would love to direct it!

Masses of seats for Monday available. I wonder if they left it a bit late to advertise the 2nd concert. Hopefully with the cast announcement that will encourage people to book for this 2nd show.

Yeah I'm a bit gutted I'm already busy on Monday otherwise I would've tried to go. They've still got just under a week so hopefully they'll sell a fair amount.

Hey. Thanks for the continued interest. We have over 400 on a waiting list here at our office and the Sunday sold out so quickly we weren’t able to offer any rates to any of the cast and crew or agents etc. So I have no doubt with 7 days still to go-this one will get to 85% at least. Another £75k minimum to the charities! All down to the really incredible cast and creatives. They are all being extraordinarily generous with their time. Its sounding amazing in the rehearsal room… So-dont delay-Book Today!!

Petrified is the emotional core of the score for me. Such a powerful moment.

It’s great they put the extra show on for extra money for the charities but had taken a bit of the shine off the one night only special …. Sunday … I do hope there are a lot more cast than have been announced and some one off surprises to make it extra special … it’s taken a lot of my NHS wage to afford the tickets … but as it’s 20 th year anniversary and a one night only experience I bit the bullet and thought my favourite show I must go …… was also my moms favourite she saw it 4 times had the cd and played it all the time even when she was sick in hospital before she passed ♥️ so I will be truly thinking of mom on Sunday x

Somewhat frustrating to get an email offering £56 seats for £25 for after spending quite a bit. Seems the Monday addition was a bit over ambitious

Thats the way of the world I'm afraid. Its like buying something full price in a shop and the next week you see it in the sale. But at least the concert is for charity so your money is going to 2 great causes.

Somewhat frustrating to get an email offering £56 seats for £25 for after spending quite a bit. Seems the Monday addition was a bit over ambitious I'd feel like that if I'd paid a three figure sum to see Taboo on Sunday but I'm delighted to have got a great seat in the stalls on Monday for £25 as it's a show I wouldn't otherwise have booked. The email said they are £56 seats for £25 but that's actually underselling the offer - the one I got was over £76 if booked direct and nearby seats are currently priced £126 on Sunday so it's a very good deal. I'm not sure if this counts as seat filling so will just say the offer is from a booking agency, not LW Theatres.

So slightly galling to find out the nearby ones on Monday are down to £25. But such is life...

However the email I have has a forward facility which says I can send the offer to up to five friends so send me a private message with an email address. It looks like I can only forward it once, to five people at the same time, so I'll wait till some other people have had the opportunity to request the link too. I'm leaving shortly to see a show tonight so it won't be till I get back very late but you will definitely get it and hopefully that will work but obviously no guarantees and can't be sure how long the offer will last. ANY ONE ELSE INTERESTED SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE.

Yep agree with you all really did make me feel a little sick after the price I paid for the Sunday as was billed as a one off show which was a lot of money for me …. Then to find it’s now on Monday too about 70% cheaper 🙄🤨😞 which would have really helped but like others have said it’s all for charity I guess

I promise everyone who has bought for Sunday will feel they got something very special and well worth the money-even if every penny wasn’t going to two very deserving charities. We really appreciate and value your support. We have sold over 1750 tickets already for Monday and I wanted to make sure we sell every last one. Already over the £75k target for the Monday. Sunday-due to the higher prices has raised well over double that. If anyone feels unable to now pay for their Sunday ticket and wants to try and swap for same seats on the Monday - (if they are in the same location) at a lower price - I am easy to contact via my email address available on our Kindred-Partners website. I do understand what its like for everyone after 2 crappy years. I think a lot of people, if they can afford it will be wanting to see both nights!

Thats a very nice gesture adamk but I really hope no one takes up the offer. This is a charity event and the aim is to raise as much money for 2 great causes. I was happy to pay the price for the Sunday concert otherwise i would not have booked and I am sure most people feel the same. Can I ask if there will be programmes for sale? Keep up the great work and looking forward to Sunday.

A very kind gesture which of course I shall not be taking up and I apologise for the whining, it's a show I love dearly and two great charities so I look forward to it. Hope you can sell out both nights even if the Monday is reduced a bit!

I read that there are some special T-shirts being sold for the 20th Anniversary Concert, so am going to try and get there early to get one. Does anyone know how long before a show starts, that they open the doors of the Palladium?

Does anyone know how long before a show starts, that they open the doors of the Palladium? It's usually about 60-90 mons before but I guess it will depend on the tech rehearsals. Sometimes for these one off events they go right up to the wire but as the venue doesn't have anything running at the moment they will have been able to get in there to set up earlier.

I stumbled across the full show on YouTube ripped from the DVD version.
I hadn't listened to the full score in years and it really does stand up.
Really quite jealous of those going to the concert. But I am still not feeling confident about going into theatres or travelling into London
