Well, Sutton Foster took David Burtka ( now Husband to NPH) as date to a school dance as a teenager. The girl had no gaydar, bless her.

Sutton hasn't aged since 1990. Christian has a... unique face. Andy Karl is one who I think is really hot, although has he had work done? I'd date Gavin. Hes really cute and seems in a complete world of his own ditzy, which makes him even cuter.

He's slightly strange looking, but rather attractive in his own strange looking way. I'd do him.

This thread has taken a real turn haha, but I find alot of the leading Broadway men attractive. Andrew Rannells too, is so cute, as is Brandon Uranowitz. But Brandon, like Gavin, you can just tell he is in a little world of rainnows and happiness all of his own.

They're probably medicated. I find Brandon attractive, Creel annoys me me beyond anything else and don't find him attractive. Rennells is not my type at all BUT I'd TOTALLY hang out with him, and think he's a kind hearted bitch, just like me. He also has a great sense of humor and is really funny.

Well it depends what you want out of them! If tou want a relationship you would have to reconsider your options, but if you want a do and dash job, you can always just cover their mouths before they have the chance to annoy you!

My little gay basic heart always falls for Jonathan Groff, but Andy Karl, Corey Cott, Daveed Diggs and Matt Doyle are in my "to do" list

Seems the buzz around Dear Evan Hansen isn't even slightly close to what it was/is for Hamilton. Not even with Bette included. Of course not. Outside of the theatre community, no one knows (or cares) what a DEH is. Hamilton (and Book of Mormon, to a lesser extent but still so) reached out to a group of the public that would never consider seeing a Broadway show. Also, it's painfully obvious that, whole Hamilton was written by someone with a real connection to, and interest in, contemporary music, DEH was written by musical theatre composers trying very hard to sound like they are interested in having a stab at aiming for the charts.

Its interesting to see those on some of the Broadway message boards saying Bandstand and Groundhog will be the next to close up shop, yet Groundhog has week in, week out been closing in on $1 million weekly and Bandstand has steadily been increasing and wont be hurt by their stellar performance last night. Whilst I don't think either will be long runners sadly, I imagine Bandstand will make it through the Summer and Groundhog will make it to at least a year.

We'll see how those Groundhog Day grosses go from here. They were down last week, I think.
I really want it to run at least through to the end of August, so I can see it on my NY trip! It deserves to do a couple of years at least.

Groundhog Day made a big mistake not going straight from The Old Vic to another London theatre and then opening on Broadway, possibly next season. It would hopefully also earn some of the Tony's it deserved, as there isn't it seems a front runner yet to be announced for Broadway next season.

Folks on Broadway World are always very negative... I actually don't like to read their boards but I still always do... Maybe I should stop. ^^
I'm glad Groundhog went up in grosses this week. I hope they will keep it up. But I don't know if transfering the following year would have made a difference. Isn't Frozen going to Broadway next season? That could easily be the next big hit. And I keep reading about The Bands Visit being a favourite. Since I've never heard about that before, I have no idea if it could be one...
What are the chances for Groundhog coming back to London? I don't think I'll have the chance to see it again in NYC, even if it runs for a year. But I really would love to.

They have said that they are looking to bring it back and it will probably be sometime in 2018. With the Olivier wins it makes sense for it to come back to a place where they know they have an audience

Anyone else notice Laura Osnes almost hit the deck during the Bandstand number doing a turn. Thankfully she caught herself before she fell completely.

I got all play winners right, yes! And most of the musical ones were either the winner or runner up. Have to admit, I didn't see that CFA win in directing coming.

Dear Evan Hansen is not Hamilton or The Book of Mormon, but I do believe it reach out of the ''broadway people'' that usually go to a theater, specially the kind of young audience that seems not really interest in theater. Not a lot of teenagers go to broadway unless it's a disney show style, so I'd give this to DEH.
Great Comet only winning two awards was a m i s t a k e. How did they lost the orchestration and direction award? To DEH? and CFA? GIVE.ME.A.BREAK!
Spacey was good, the show was ok-ish, the numbers were not great, save from Comet and Bandstand. Also, Noblezada can sing, damn, easy the greatest vocal of the night for me.

About b'way men: Jonathan Groff is my spiritual boyfriend, but Brandon Uranowitz and Daveed Diggs are legit contenders to a full relationship.

Groundhog will close within the year, unless it's one of those instances where producers keep something open until they really can't anymore. It didn't win any awards and the performance was a disappointment. Even shows that won best musical and had a great performance, like Gentleman's Guide and Fun Home only lasted 1-2 years after the Tonys. The Band's Visit is already a big frontrunner for next year, so I don't think waiting would have done any good.
Bandstand gave a good performance which should help them to have a healthy Summer. After that is when things will start to go downhill again.

I still don't know how DEH will survive without Platt, I can't wait to see.
Let's way for next year's award, can't wait to see Elza vs Regina George at Lead in a Musical. Fill the rest with Anna, Jessie Mueller and whoever plays Miss Dolittle and we already have a line up lol

You guys, clearly the reason The King & I has been taking forever to come to London is because Christine Ebersole stole Kelli O'Hara's Shall We Dance frock: link

On that note never has a pair of shorts being changed (from teeny tiny) to longer baggier ones been so heartbreaking a costume change. Anyway I digress from the package...I think if memory serves Borle did generally make comments/gestures in the show...I mean how could you not

You just watch Featured Actress be stolen by the woman who plays Janice Ian. That role is gonna be the Featured Role in Mean Girls that racks up awards I think.

Oh, hun. No. I don't think Mean Girls will be getting anything. It'll be great, and funny and fabulous but I don't know if a high school musical, no matter how sharp it is, will get anything. I think next year's win will probably be Asaka/Mother Earth from Once On This Island. The lead in The Band's Visit will win Best Actress. Tony Shalhoub will most likely win Best Actor for The Band's Visit.
