Choreography - Bandstand From what I've heard, that's probably deserved to be fair. I predicted that, it was a gut instinct and I'm thrilled! From what i've seen its great and glad to see so many different shows getting at least one. But... whats ths deal with Comet? Is it part of some controversy or something? I would of thought that was the obvious winner here? With Comet, I think it's hard to differentiate between what is direction and what is choreography. It's not traditional dance. Also it seems like voters just hated the show, unlike the nominating committee.

That was all kinds of awesome!!!! Really hope the rumour of Great Comet having a London home are true as I'd love to see it after that!

I want Kevin Spacey as Harold Hill in The Music Man and I want it now.

This tells you where my America is when Jill Biden gets a standing ovation. And I love it

There is a very good chance we are just gonna hear Hello Dolly twice and Dear Evan Hansen twice now...

RE Bette, they wouldn't cough up the cash for the whole rehearsal process (presumably they wanted her to do Hello Dolly itself which requires full staircase set, costuming, big ensemble), and it didn't make much sense for Bette to do that much preparation. They don't need the promotion for the show (sold out for months) and it plays into the exclusivity of the whole thing. The only way you can see Bette as Dolly is to buy a ticket!

Congrats to Ben. No real surprise. Gutted for Andy and Groundhog Day but we knew it was likely it would win nothing, bring it back here!
So Dear Evan Hansen is the biggest winner of the night, even if it doesn't win Musical.

Oh dear. I was so hoping for Andy to win, even if his chances were very small... This doesn't look good for Groudhog Day at all now. I hope they don't have to close too soon.

Bette Midler's acceptance speech is the second best performance of the night.

When Dolly won Revival Bette really didn't want to be there. She literally hid behind Scott (not a challenge).

It's incredible that after all the speculations of the last 10 days the winners are exactly the ones we all predicted 5 months ago.

Don't worry too much just yet. It needed the awards but it still makes on average over $900,000 a week comfortably, it will have a respectable run, a year or so hopefully.

Easily the worst Tonys I've seen, in terms of winners AND performances.
Things I enjoyed: 1. Great Comet's performance 2. Patti's face when Glenn said her name 3. Bette's acceptance speech 4. Seeing Lin
That's it!
