Watching my brother rewe’re the Man U v Chelsea match this eve. A first for me....actually as is watching more than a few moments of any football match!,
Many canapés and treats to accompany the game. Just hoping for a decent interval act 😀😀😀

Just hoping for a decent interval act 😀😀😀 So that means both of you will have appeared on primetime BBC! It clearly is a first, as I believe it is normally called 'referee', unless he really is going to rewe're the match, whatever that is. 🙂 ⚽️

😀😀😀yes, that would be the word: referee. Flipping iPad keyboard! Or maybe it was my excitement to see a match.....
But then again, it could be called anything for all I know about football😀

I didn’t think I had any theatre this week until I get to London on Saturday for a few days. So imagine my surprise when I get an email from the Liverpool Everyman theatre reminding me about my upcoming visit. So I’m off to watch Caroline’s Kitchen (I’m sure this played at London’s Park Theatre previously) tomorrow.
Saturday - Pinter 7 / Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ train.
Sunday - Bad Girls - The Musical

I watched a football match once, nearly 30 years ago. It wasn't for me! I've not even seen a football match once, although, as a kind of penance, I did teach Gary Lineker's son the piano for six years! * *I also taught him my own arrangement of the theme tune to 'Match of the Day,' another kind of forfeit.

This weekend I am going to travel to High Wycombe to see the last performance of Sarah Jane Buckley, Sean Jones and Mark Hutchinson in Blood Brothers. On a more immediate note, tonight I will be going to the cinema to see Don Quichote by the Royal Ballet with ruby .

Tonight I shall be experiencing a Fiddler on the Roof at the Menier. While I'm there I might have something to eat and take in a show.

Les Mis tour on Monday.
...and this next one took a half price offer and my wife actively wanting to go to the theatre...but I am willing to watch the ‘Kinky Boots’ tour on Thursday evening despite hating pretty much everything about it when I saw it in London. Needless to say I won’t be driving that night. 🍷

Massive Attack at the O2 on Friday. Have a friend working on this (clang). Heard good reports of the show. Ok, so no support act - but surely playing Robbie Williams, All Saints and Chumbawamba before the main event through possibly the worst sound system EVER is just taking the f***ing piss? Especially when beer is £7 a pint and tour T-shirts are £30. Very ‘anarchic’ - nice one you guys 😐

Today - Pinter 7 / Jesus Hopped the A train Sunday - Bad Girls -The Musical Monday - Come Fom Away Tuesday - Bodies / All about Eve Wed - Tartuffe / Showstoppers I'm always amazed how people can manage to cope with several days of theatregoing in a row. I've found from experience that if I try to do more than 2 days in a row I start to make myself ill from tiredness & skipping meals. Yesterday I did double Showstopper & today Showstopper matinee followed by the Royal Ballet's Don Quioxte & I will then be spending Sunday mostly lying in bed recovering!

It definitely tests my stamina that’s for sure! What I’ve found is if I do that sort of theatre going, doing touristy stuff gets dropped and plenty of rest in between shows is essential, as is coffee and plenty of food to keep energy levels up. Once the binge is over, I definitely try to have a break from theatre going for a while so I can recharge the batteries.

I find if I go to too many events too close together, my memories of what I went to blur into one and I lose track of what I’ve seen and when (I went out pretty much every night during Valentines week but some of what I went to seems to have happened aeons ago)
But anyway - seeing The Twilight Sad at Electric Ballroom on Thursday.
