The American Clock.
I'm trying to stay positive. And sadly, I have nothing better to do on Valentine's Day.

Come From Away, The Price, and Ian McKellen. I'm still debating between Cost of Living and Songs for Nobodies.

Tomorrow I shall be venturing to deepest darkest Newport for a play. The horror! (This is admittedly a niche bit of regional shade throwing)

Sunday I'll be busing into NYC and trying to get SRO ticket for To Kill a Mockingbird. So difficult to get tickets and they are sooo expensive so this is about my only option. If I can't then I'm not sure what I'll try to get into.

It was nice knowing you. I survived. I’m not sure some of the audience were living. Or knew where they were. Come to think of it the actors too. I shall now be in quarantine for 6 weeks and will be having my jabs.

I mean it's not THIS week but it's in A week so it counts! I get to post!!! I have next weekend. In an ideal world I'd see Come From Away, SiX and Waitress, but I'm thinking Waitress may have to be something else since they're only doing days seats monday-wednesday. Maybe Jamie, just to see what Layton's like. Or maybe something new (hit me up if there are any must-sees!!)

Don Quixote by the Royal Ballet at the cinema on Tuesday. Might take hannechalk if she behaves herself. I'm seeing it live next Saturday (Nunez/Muntagirov) & at the end of March (Campbell/Magri). It was only going to be at the end of March but the reviews for Nunez & Muntagirov for the opening night last night were so good that I grabbed a ticket for next Saturday, as they sound unmissable.

I've been seeing opera there since 2004 but this is the first season I've seen any ballet there. It's proving to be very addictive! What are you planning to see for your first visit?

I haven't decided yet, the website only has listings up to August and there's nothing that strikes me so far. I have a big birthday later in the year so I am going to drag out the celebrations for that ☺️
