The two ladies next to me who had not seen Evita before told me they had been undecided whether to return after the interval as they could not follow the story.

Last night at Half a Sixpence at Kilworth, the mainly older audience were nearly all well dressed - but the group in the row behind me clearly had no idea they are not supposed to chat and comment on every scene and song, throughout the performance. It would be good if the pre-show reminder not to film or take photos included a request not to chat while the show is in progress. Great show by the way!

Well I was not expecting to be asked to dance - but I wish I had now! Nice to meet Paul26 and I’m glad he enjoyed the show, as I did. It was certainly different from anything I have seen before but in a good way.

I agree with the previous comment. The show told their story very well. The boys playing the young Osmonds were great. I really enjoyed the music and the evening flew by. Jay Osmond was there and was happy to pose for selfies with fans.

It sounded to me as though she was impersonating Margaret Thatcher - including the exaggerated deep curtsey to the queen.

I think it was the same as the adult Charlie. Lola and the angels were great as always. I thought Paula made a lovely Lauren - her facial expressions were very funny.

I was at Northampton last night. As there are no children, the show opens with what I think is meant to be a younger Charlie and his Dad singing The Most Beautiful Thing. The conveyors would not work at the end of the first half so the show was halted and we were asked to retain our seats. Just minutes later they restarted from halfway through Everybody Say Yeah and it was great. Full standing ovation.
