You couldn't move for tourists at the world-famous Crucible Theatre. I think I even heard a Rotherham accent.

I wonder if the famous ATG T&C’s have ever been tested for fairness? Just because ATG write it, doesn’t make it legal. If the T&C’s are fundamentally unfair to the consumer then they could be told to change them. Do we have any experts in consumer law on the forum?? It previously came under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations, but has now been consolidated into The Consumer Rights Act 2015, specifically Part 2. There is a recognition that in business to consumer contracts, without intervention there would be an imbalance in favour of the former.

Mater's verdict on yesterday's matinee: "I thought it would be funny. It wasn't."
It took some doing, but we eventually decided that Tamzin Outhwaite is this week's special guest. "She's only on stage for five minutes."
I think we've found Baz's replacement. 😂

After being shouted at by a rude lady at South Pacific, I'd decided that my first visit to Chichester would be my last visit to Chichester. I may have to relent.
If I ask nicely, perhaps they'll schedule some performances just for younger people?

Name one highly-charged, adversarial industrial dispute that has ever ended well for workers in the long-term. Just one.
How many deep coals mines are still operating? How large is the UK steel industry? When was the Dock Labour Scheme abolished? How many large merchant ships have been built on the Clyde in the last 40 years? When did British Leyland build its last car?

Obvioysly I'm pleased for her, but I hope this doesn't mean Suzy Klein disappears from our screens.

I'm going to watch Elmina's Kitchen tonight on iPlayer.
That counts, doesn't it?

There's some sort of varsity festival at the University this weekend, so the city centre has been alive today with Morris dancing.
I know some of the chaps in the local 'side', and would happily join, but green slacks don't suit me.
Shame, really. It would be nice to have a legitimate reason to wield a big stick whilst in drink. I got six months last time! 🤪

"Peaked my interest." I see what you did there, david. As an h'ors d'oeuvre, there's a revival of Beryl at Oldham Coliseum in May. If Betty is as good as that, I see no reason why it shouldn't be very good. I wonder what her next project will be called?

I've done a little research, and Dr Ebere Okereke is a trustee (director) of the National Youth Music Theatre. nymt.org.uk/about/meet-the-team/She's also a world-renowned expert on public health. Anyway, back to MFL...

Susie Blake has already played Margaret Rutherford playing Jane Marple, in 'Margaret, Murder and Me', so I suppose this is a promotion. Or perhaps it's a demotion? 🤔

I don't know who announced it first, but Oti won't be returning as a contestant this autumn...just as I predicted some months ago. 😉

United on a Wednesday Night was the play that saved the world-famous Crucible Theatre from financial collapse.
There's also the delayed First Touch opening at Nottingham Playhouse in a few months.

Please try and remember that Adam Kenwright is now a TB member. If we're all a bit more positive, maybe he'll give us an exclusive?

If HM Government want to offer me a £50 million sweeter to move to a purpose-built new home, I'll leave this afternoon. No kicking will be required.

It must have been a bit different at today's matinee, with children who had been taken by their parents because it is half term, sitting amongst school parties who were there because it isn't yet half term. It will all balance out, I suppose.
Leeds isn't too far, York a little further, but Whitby must be a six hour round trip by charabanc...even without any fallen trees!

I'm afraid I spent the last 10 minutes wondering why the train's dead man's handle hadn't activated.
On a Sunday night I want television that is (mostly) nice and gentle.
